hi to all dsm'ers. i recently purchased a 95 Talon TSI awd that had been converteted to a 2gb eclipse body. The car came with a built motor and a evo 3 GT turbo. i have been up reading this forum for quite sum time now and i wold just like to say that there is an abundance of good info on here. also i like how there is actually parts available for this car. My last was a 85 300zx nissan, and there is litle to no aftermarket for that car, and finding OE replacement parts was a hassle in itself.I am very pleased so far with this car. again hi to all

Yes my girlfriend has been very pissy because ive done nothing but sit on the comp reading the forums haha..the previous owner was on here and had some threads on his build. he stated that the motor was a 6 bolt bolt, 2gen head, ross pistons,and eagle rods.he also said that the turbo is a turbonetics evo 3 turbo but i am unsure if it is a ebay knockoff.i couldnt find one on google or ebay or anywhere.only knockoffs on ebay.he also said that it had a stage 2 dogbox trans, sbr 3500 clutch mated with an xact flywheel.the car came to me with a shot ebay BOV on custom exhaust pipe made into ic piping.the car has a large FMIC. im still weeding out all the minor odds and ends but for $2200 im in love!! haha thanx again all

Great looking 2g and welcome to the site! Turbonetics didn't make a Evo III GT turbo, the GT's are only eBay knock-offs of the real MHI Evo III 16g. Don't worry though, the eBay Evo III GT is a great entry level turbo and some DSM'rs around this site have ran great 1/4 mile times using them.

thanks. i fell in love the second i saw her!I figured it wasnt turbonetics, but owell hopefully it works out.ive read many reviews on the ebay parts and it seams like they've improved quality i will keep my fingers crossed.if the turbo grenades i will get a real evo3 mhi.I have alot more pics on facebook so add me if you want to see more.

as of now i am running a greddy knockoff RS bov. I have this Euro-Jet Racing Diverter/recirc valve that looks like a grenade!!I've been contemplating buy the RS type mounting flange to bolt up to my BOV mount.I know it will be unique and a nice convo starter. Hers a pic of the valve and the adapter i would be using to mate it to the RS bov mount. all comments are welcome

Thank you all for your welcoming. i just recieved my recirc kit for my knockoff rs BOV i gota set that up and hopefully that will cure my stalling issues. I feel i got a real god deal on this car. only time will tell..
