A 615 tsi what is Import Alliance. A I got my car done stop bye and look at it some time. The one in franklin ky .my son pulled hes motor in hes tsi awd last night order a lot of parts for it. talk to u soon

Ill be there.. Hope to have 1 of my dsm's running by then.. If i get this job at nissan i will have both of them running.. one is lacking alot of parts.. the other just needs an engine.

Man look it up on YouTube its defiantly something you'll have bring that car for biggest import meet around... ill get up there next couple of days and check it our for sure

Cool cool I'm hopin see a lot dsmers out there... mines running but I'm gonna fresh it up get few parts get the boost up and hopefully have it almost to 300 HP

I'll be there, of course like always I'm at every Major Auto Event in TN. especially IA hopefully my DSM doesn't spin a bearing on the way there like last year , I still went tho. I know several people from the DSM crew that are not really on this site will show up too I'm sure...

There were very few DSM's there last year tho, especially 1G's

Things to have done by then

New Tranny
New Clutch (and supporting parts)
Rims
New Tires
Window Tint (35%)
Rotors (Slotted, and Drilled)
and Hopefully running turbo, Ideally E316G w\ Speed Density on Link

oh and John, got the Talon running on all 5 and a half gears counting 2nd on Randy's tranny. pulls like a champ, not bad for a non turbo. Thanks for the clutches and misc pars 2nd gear grinds, 3rd a little but i believe that's linkage related. few bugs to work out!

Well i kno there should be atleast 3 from our crew going if the other 2 can get theres going we should have 4 2gs and a 1g gsx plus few others in different cars

I'm sure Matt will be there with his crank twisting, transmission destroying 800hp 1G

I'm going to attempt to make it as quite a few people from my area like to bring their Hondas over. But we all do realize that a DSM isn't exactly an 'Import'... correct? Just tossing that out there for everyone.

I'll be attempting to get my Talon at least somewhat completed...at least putting down decent power on a 2.4. I'm not 100% sure that I'
ll have ALL of the Talon project done, but it should be at least 80% up to power. The GST won't be showing face to any meets.

Don't bring the honda's theres enough of them at IA as it is. and that's ok, we have more right being there then the 20-30 mustangs and shit that always show up.

Well looks like my red 2g dsm will be there.. Im only lacking a few small parts and then ill have the engine done.. my awd spyder wont be there though.. im like 10k short on that one.. prob just will be the red car and maybe my honda cause it has AC! and 2 extra doors to store shit .. I plan to bring the tent and a grill to make some burgers again this year.

chris its all good glad to help out. I found that 1g shift linkage literally an hour after you left my house. If you need one let me know cause i have it and it is no use in any of my 2g's .. Also if anybody local has some 2g trailing arms for awd for sale i am looking for both sides.. I also need a transfer case and awd transmission along with some awd tank straps or even a fuel cell thats small.

i should have my beast sorted by then, im getting motivated again!

If all goes to plan I will be there in my awd spyder.. I just sent the head off.. and hoping to pick up some internals within the next 2 weeks. and the red eclipse is still a goo..

if i can get my electrical and everything else fixed i'll be their.

I might I just drove the Talon to memphis in back with no issues so I have good faith in it. about 450 mile 7 hour round trip.

Anything that's steady driving for more than 2 Hours on a DSM is damned good. Congrats on the good trip.

well as u know 615tsi i will def be there and all of redline will be too thats 6 turbo dsms 1 civic si 2 240sx and maybe 1 mustang so come on guys keep em running and lets show em what dsms are made of
