Back from the dead, I know, but I'm doing this very soon and am trying to get a full list of everything I will need to do this swap in a weekend.

So far, to my understanding, I will need:

.70a/r BEP housing
ERL or similar manifold
Vband exhaust
Oil Feed and Drain lines

Is this correct? And if so, what sort of fabrication am I looking at for the oil feed and drain lines? I've heard of people that didn't need any fabrication, but just wanted to make sure. If you can think of anything else I might need to do this, let me know soon please and thanks.

The drain line should be a -12AN which will require the removal of the oil pan to drill the proper sized hole and then weld the fitting on.

As for the oil feed, you really need to test your oil pressure but I'm using a -4AN feed line off the OFH with a Forced Performance inline filter and not producing any smoke.

ya looks good. Whatever you do, dont get an ebay manifold. It will crack trust me. If you get a cheap manifold and end up having to get a new one that will throw everything else off. The oil drain, downpipe, and maybe the intercooler pipe will need to be redone. it will cost you more in the long run, learn from my mistakes LOL

I have a question ..Does a hx40 bep bolt on housing mounted to a fp manifold clear the block or hit the waterpipe??

http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/art...ooler/352461-wh1c-hx35-install-2g-7-bolt.html

This WH1C fit EXACTLY the same as the HX40 I put on in a .55ar housing. There was some modifications needed to the water pipe.

It also looks like you have a GVR4 which has a different intercooler routing setup similar to the early EVOs which requires clocking to face up. You will need to dent the water pipe even more than I did. My buddy had to dent his housing a considerable amount to fit his HX40 on his car.

I have a 1g now, I have to update my profile LOL, but yeah I figured I'd have to dent in the water pipe, just though I would of got lucky with the fp manifold LOL..Thanks again

No problem and take your time. I have seen the brazing split(caused a hole) where the mounting bracket is held onto the waterpipe.
