I need to smog my car... Like many of you guys. Lol. Well I'm pretty much stock but with 3" piping I was told If I put a flowmaster obdII cat it would make me pass smog with no problem. But what do you fellow dsmrs think... Would I?

if you have to pass smog then you have to have a car since the car is obd2 where im from all they do is check for codes on obd2 cars they dont hook it up the the smog machine, if you have no codes then you pass

put the cat on and make sure nothing else is wrong with any of your emission components. test drive it and drive the car hard to heat up the cat. leave the car on when u get to the smog station and it will increase your chances of passing. as long as no check engine light appears and they put your car on the dyno(if your car is fwd) and they'll run it from there. if your vehicle is awd then you have a better and easier shot at passing.
