So I have several. For starters I was talking mad sh!t to guys I work with about a 97 GSX I was about to buy. So I got it from a uw student noticed the downpipe flange was missing bolt no biggythen driving it home it overheated on me. My co workers laughed when I pulled up and theyheared the "lifter tick". So I took it to a shop which noticed that my alternator was shot and wired to battery so it would run long enough to sell. They replaced my lifters and alternator..... Still ticking. Come to find out one of the rods was missing and beat my crank to death. They did a 6bolt swap, bored 2 over with J.E. 95 pistons and 1g rods and dyno tuned it to learn that the clutch can't handle the power so now they laugh still ### its a never ending project.

In the rs I owned it smoked bad, body was beat and paint was warped and stalled at every light. Changed egr valve seemed to fix it still had bad oil leak. Fixed long enough for me to sell it.

^ LOL the cycle of ####ing people over with "running long enough to sell" cars hahaha

probably the most embarrasing thing for me was when i accidently hit a car, parallel parking in front of a house party i pregamed a little too much for. this was in my friends 420a and i had about 3 months maybe less of driving stick every weekend or so when i saw him. welllll i ended up trying to parallel park into a spot already taken but it was dark, i was drunk, and the car was black and completely blacked out, rims lights and dark tint. thing was a ####ing batmobile. haha. i hit the the other car and smashed in his door with my read end. My friend got scared and told me to floor it. by which i responded to by stalling an ungodly amount of times. seriously. like 10 or 12. slowest attempt to run away ever. plus there were a bunch of cuteass girls standing outside the house.

i failed. i was 15. didnt have a ####ing licence. and had to man up to a very angry lil' wayne looking dude.

Let's see.....well, I can't say my car has ever really embarassed me. Everyone where I lived gives it mad respect even when she's being bitchy. I'm also used to driving junk, so when the car fails, I don't get sad. But the funniest thing that's happened to me was when I installed my Jackal fms and the ostrich decided to keep dumping the tune. I have to drive around with my laptop so I can reload the tune because if it sits for too long, it corrupts it (no idea why, and haven't been able to send it off to moates to get fixed) and won't start.

One night I was hanging out with some friends when this girl I liked decided we should go for a ride. I left my car there with the keys in it and was gone for 30 minutes. Came back and my friends are mad. Me thinking they're hating because they thought I got laid (helped her change her kids diaper of all things:rolleyes:), I start to tell them what happened.Following conversation ensues between me and one of my friends
Him
"Your car's junk dude. I couldn't get it to start" him
"Why the fVck were you trying to start my car?" me
"I was gonna take it for a ride and light 'em up in front of the parking lot but the pos wouldn't even turn over. I think your car fails." Him
"No, it just doesn't appreciate douchebags like you trying to molest here" me as I get in and start up my laptop. Load the tune while they're talking smack, and kick her over.
"Wtf? dude I swear I tried everything!" him
"Well, she knows her master" Me.

I couldn't help but smile as they continued to dog on it. Yes, my car does know her master.:)

On a side note, 18psi of boost on a fwd car with NON EXISTANT front struts makes for a fun show. Especially when the car torque steers so bad you cross into the next lane and almost hit the center median. Girls love that.:rolleyes:

Ohh man. I have lots for having my car running for a whole day (wow!!). So my Talon is my first standard. And my buddy decided to pull into a big parking lot for me to practice with the stick, well the parking lot was my school parking lot and there was alot of people there for being a summer day... Let's just say that alot of people got a good laugh.

Then I was driving when my car starts smoking, i'm driving around with all my friends pilled in the car. I pull over to see what it is when and integra drives past honking...

Oh and it turned out my motor blew cause the person doing the inspection didn't screw on the oil cap all the way and it leaked all the oil and didnt start smoking till after i got an exhaust leak.

My most embarrassing time was my first drive in my talon. I was learning how to drive stick and the ACT 2900 was not making it any easier. My friend who was helping me out got a good laugh.

The most embarrassing moment was probably was a week before I tore it apart. At school, everytime I started it up it squeaked like crazy for a minute straight, the valve seals were gone and I was burning oil like no other that when I pulled out of the parking lot, all you would see is clouds of smoke covering the street. When I slowed down and turned there were grinding noises because of my cv joints.

Don't worry though, All being fixed!

Every day my alternator belt squeals and won't take tightening up for more than a day. At first it happened because I received a free belt to just get it running and the belt was slightly too long, but then I got a new one and it was fine for a week. Squealing belts are embarrassing.

So my friend let me drive his SRT-4 that was obv stick and he had a stage 3 clutch (car had about 400HP) I havent driven stick in a while and its not fun brushing up on your stick skills with a stage 3 clutch LOLol. So i'm at the light waiting for it to turn green so i can turn to go onto the onramp of the highway and ofcourse i stalled, again, and again, and again the first stall was due to driver error and the rest where due to the 15 cars behind me trying to get to work on time and giving me the finger while passing by me..:ohdamn:

a couple of mine of course the alternator belt squealing everytime I start up or start moving for a full minute then way back the nut that holds the alternator pivot bolt in place fell off so my alternator was ####-eyed we didn't see it till the next day when we had sunlight. But every time I turned one direction all you heard was a god awful loud scraping noise, I haven't had the elephant noise or automatic revving feature yet but I know it will happen to me someday

Yeah. I think the worst is the belt squeal, or the James Bond smoke screen when your turbo is dieing/is dead.

Back years and years ago when I first got my 93 Eagle Talon DS, the little 1.8L was dieing pretty badly(no compression in two cylinders) so everywhere I would go, it would smoke so badly. I would die of embarrassment. That, and one time the GSX had an alternator belt that was a little too long, and on really cold days or if it would get wet, it would squeal so loudly.

Well i kinda have 2. LOL

Well when i was in high school traffic would get really backed up at the end of the day. So i would be sitting there in my dsm amongst all the rich kids (an evo, wrx, a plethora of mustangs, and even a jaguar xk8, and 3 of these guys totaled their cars. Who's laughing now. :thumb:) with a sexy lifter tick, auto rev feature activated, and a clutch chatter that made my exhaust rattle. LOL. It was rather awkward......

And then theres picking up a date recently, interior rattling all the way to the restaurant, and then when we were leaving BAM. Wont start.

Got a new alarm with remote start and wanted to show off to a few coworkers, I remote started my car from across the street and forgot I left the car in 1st gear, well the car started to move forward... I thought it would stop and die after hitting the curve.. it didnt, it just kept going, over the curve, on the grass going uphill... darn AWD.. almost hit a tree. I ran like a crack head and stepped on the breaks.

I was having idle issues and that car would always try to keep the idle up in a way (REVing itself)

people laughed and I disabled the remote start the next day..

ROFL, thats a dman good one :applause:

I love putting my new b16g turbo on and talkin some smack to my buddy with a Mazdaspeed 3, so on the way to the race one of my heater hoses exploded shot a massive ball of steam from under the car. Well i "ghetto" rigged the hoses to bypass them, so i get to the spot we get ready to race and as im holding the gas pedal to build some boost my clutch master goes out and the car kind-of launched prematurely, and bogged and died because i wasnt ready for it.

damn car.....
bu i still love my dsm :D

Yeah, Mine had to be when my alarm would NOT stop going off. I had to leave my window down and pull off a dukes of hazard entry for a week. the slightest movement of a door being shut would set the alarm off. The worst part was, I worked at a kids camp at the time so whenever it went off I would be scrambling to try and figure out the problem while the kids and the other councilors would point, stare and laugh while making up a song and clapping along to the sound of my alarm. Worst. week. ever.

I had the same problem with my 2g, i decided to ditch the alarm and wired up a kill switch hidden under the dash.

Just left my brothers house telling him how crappy his hondas are then I get 1 turn from my house and the oil supply line comes off spraying oil all over the front of the engine bay and ended up bending a valve. but gave me time to rebuild and put the 20g and 272's in. ;). Thats the only reason dsms break , to give us reasons to build em up bigger.

For me, 2008 Woodward Dream cruise... Car stalled at a red light where the street was lined 6-8 deep... My starter was out at the time as well and I ended up getting a push start from a little kid (under 14)... That was really embarrassing!
