Not a military guy myself but I am looking to get a civilian job. Right now its just tough because Im trying to do research on contacting them to get the ball rolling but school is killing me right now.
I know they have a SMART scholarship that I was interested by their stupid automated website declined me because of my GPA.

You uys are all taking classes that give me a headache just trying to understand the class names, LOL. I graduated 5 years ago with a degree in audio engineering and all my final consisted of was recording a band, mixing, editing, and burning the final to a disc.

I have one final next week on Mon, Tues, and Wed.

I won't pass my English class with a C so I won't be able to move on. My professor is an idiot and hasn't taught us anything all semester and expects us to already know what to do. Too bad she didn't know my Father-in-law is a dean at a big time school and writes research papers for a living... Oops, looks like she pissed down the wrong leg...

The rest of my classes (math, music, western civ) are all above 89% so I will be fine.

I have one last final and its gonna kill me. Fundamentals of chemical engineering is much harder than it sounds. LOL

This thread makes me feel good. I graduated this past spring - no more finals!! Till grad school....

I didn't know there were so many members on here going to school for engineering. Makes me feel good.

This is my last full-time semester of grad school. Just have to finish my grad thesis in the spring then I'll be done, I could have done it this semester but got to far behind in classes. M.B.A Global Business/Professional Accounting in 5.5 years :thumb:

Next step is studying for the CPA exam

My schedule for the next two weeks:

-homework due Monday (13th)
-exam on Wednesday (15th)
-final exam Monday (20th)

Thermodynamics:
-homework due Wednesday (15th)
-final exam Sunday (19th)

Geometric Modeling:
-homework due Thursday (16th)
-final project due Monday (20th)

I think thats everything, I might have forgotten something

Hahahaha, Yeah you didnt know engineers had to take methlab? What do you think keeps us up all night thinking up random bs!

Edit: I go to University Of Pittsburgh
Lived on campus all my life LOL

Where on Campus do you live? Chances are I'm a stones throw away living right there by Bates St and the Blvd.

I have a year and a half left for my CS major and then Grad school. Luckily I've had (for the most part) good, fun professors so exams weren't bad. My CS Exam last year was to design a GUI for a business, so I did automotive of course.

Only exams I've really hated are Math ones ironically. I loved Math until I got to college.

Haha, my elec circuits final owned me and the rest of the class. Teacher was a douche.
I hate matlab, it seemed like it was useful at first but then you stop using it almost entirely. Every once and a while someone brings it up on a homework.
Ill tell you what, when you take thermal system design, ees is the shit!

You use EES? One of the professors at my college developed that program. I use it all the time, it's great. I also hate MATLAB.

Doesn't everyone hate finals?? I honestly dont know anyone who enjoys them.

I have a cousin who loved finals week. He never had to study for his finals though, so he just played xbox and did nothing except go and take his exams during finals week. He was an exception though, graduated with a 3.7 in Engineering Mechanics and Astronautics in four years from UW Madison in 2008, he never took a class during the summer, and did not have AP credits coming into college. He's building a cozy mark IV now and has already designed another plane of his own in his spare time that he wants to build. The guy was born to be an engineer.

But I would say 99% of everyone hates finals.

Just found out that not doing half the homework made it impossible for me to get a C in my one class. I missed getting the required C by 2% last time. I did much better on the mid-term exams this time (got 82% and 91% on the midterms instead of 67% and 46%) but didn't do as much homework. Maybe 3rd time will be the charm....

At least that's one less final.

Yeah I live right up on atwood. Down closer to Dawson

I think I know where you're at then haha. I used to live on the opposite end of Atwood and had a friend that lived down on Dawson about a block from the intersection.

Thats rough dude. Good luck.

Awesome to see so many other Engineering Students / grads.

I am just finishing my second last semester of Industrial Systems Engineering here in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.

3 finals left this semester, Ergonomics in 1 hour and 23 minutes, Human Resources Management tomorrow morning at 9am, and Mechanical Machine Design Friday morning at 9am.

Then going to the campus bar and getting afternoon drunk on friday.
