Hey guys the problem I'm having with my car is that it keep blowing my interior/rear lights fuse. When I bought the car there was no stereo in it and the harness was cut up. From the day I bought it it kept on blowing fuses and i didn't know until recently noticed a Green/white wire that was like melted. Tested it with a tester (duh!) and it came out it was from the same fuse.

The problem is i don't know if somewhere along that wire is shorting out and since i'm not using it might as well eliminate it but I don't know where it ends. I've searched and really couldn't really come up with anything and the manual didn't help much a lot. It does say there is green/white wire but also there is like a thousand green/white wires down there.

If someone that has any input pleeeaaaseee help me. Attached a picture of the wire and the part of the manual where it shows what i'm talking about.

I actually "know" the color of the wire it's green with a white stripe. What i want to know is where is "the other end" of the wire in the picture.

Also there are no plugs for the stereo in my car.

Yeah I rewired all my system incluiding the Awia head unit with a fused wire directly to the battery and the stereo is "stand alone". But the interior/rear fuse keep on blowing (not due to the radio).

Yes, you know what color it is, do you know what it does? If you know what it does, maybe you can find where it ends.

1st Gen Radio Plug
It's for illumination. It shows +12v when the lights turn on. I see a nice bare wire, cap it and you should stop blowing fuses. You shouldn't have any exposed wires anywhere ever.

AND
Don't fix someone's hack job (cutting the harness instead of using an adapter) with ANOTHER hack job (removing the wire all together without replacing it). It's a dick move if anyone else ever ends up with that car.

Yeah the wire always is capped off, I only took it for the picture. The reason i'm asking is because I tried to find the other en to check if it's shorting along the way. I know I shouldn't be removing wires and specially lightning which i could use for gauges or something but the situation is really annoying wher you're driving at night and suddenly there's darkness inside your car.
Thanks for the quick reply's

Off the top of my head look at the light switch harness for the same wire.

New harness won't help unless it completely replaces the shorted wire..

In the second picture of the actual page with the wiring diagram, it tells you, GW = TAILLIGHT RELAY.

Telling you so search would be a bad, bad thing on my part. So I'm going to do one better, and tell you that the answer to your question resides in chapter 12 of the manual that you seem to have readily available to you.:rocks:
