This made my day. THANKS CHRIS. A hangout WITHIN the hangout. I guess snowboarder can close this thread now. LOL. We have complete power over the mods on this one! j/k

But seriously How come most of the 2g stock gst run only low 16. Is that a joke, i thought they clock somewhere around low 15's.. i saw it with my own eyes. I was ashamed to own one that day at the track.
I've never time my car yet. I have no idea how to lunch a turbo car. This is what happens.
1'st gear lunch at 4k rpm.. feathers clutch okay not much wheel spin. While in first at 3k turbo kicks no traction. My mods are up to date... what can I expect? I'm guessing high 15's. Elevation will be @300ft above sea level.

Hmmm :hmm: It depends on what color your exhaust flames are. Also, what type of neon are you running? Without this info, we can't help you here.

Flames and neons are lime green, along with my paint. Except for the hood. That is flat black. I heard the flat black hood adds 15 hp hp the wheels. And if you add a roof scoop and a blitz kit thats another 50 whp. So this would explain why my damn floor board keeps falling out. Who would have thought.

The OEM Mitsu composite gasket should hold 25 psi all day long with good studs. Your problem is going to be IAT's and knock on that small turbo at that amount of boost; especially on 91 frog piss.

With proper surfacing and headstuds it'll hold just about anything you throw at it.. We've done 42rs at over 40psi on an OEM composite and a Felpro.

I'll be running a composite most likely on my O-ringed block with L19s.

Sounds like you need to just buy some better tires. You shouldn't be getting wheelspin with a t-25 and your mods, or if you are, it should be VERY little.

Thanks for answering. I thought it was typical for tsmall to do that in first gear. My first gear at 3k hops like crazy. Would some light slick tires at the track tame the beast????
I wanna push my tsmall and try to break lower 14's. I know it's pointless but I need a good excuse so my wife lets me buy another turbo, hahaha!:ohdamn:
their was a previous thread where the op hit lower 14's with similar mods like mines with a full exhaust system. I mean I've seen stock gst's hit lower 16's... that isnt the ball park isn't it? If it is for a turbo car, pointless! Anyways!
Thanks again!

First off you can window weld your front motor mount, that will stop the wheel hop. As for the tires just get some nicer street tires, or if you don't put tons of miles on the car buy some drag radials. $350 and you can have some decent tires that should be able to take whatever the t-25 can throw at them.

Watch the nubs come out from the wood work to breathe a sigh of relieve and finally pop the question theyve always wanted to. Guarantee peeps from 2004 will be in asking about what their car would have made if they would have done X mod with 40 psi. Wait for it!

Well you're the one from '04 on the page.. Sounds like you're hinting to us that you wanna post? LOL

So like, i have a really nice car. And it runs pretty good. But i think i want to make like 350hp. It seems like a good number. Itll just as fast as a corvette and i always wanted one of those. The car leaks a little. But that shouldnt be too big of a problem. Is an hx40 a good turbo for what i want to do. I hear some many good things like they are the best and they spool faster than everything and they last forever. I think ill buy some 1450cc injectors just in case i want to upgrade down the road. I think kelford 288s should be good enough for my goal. I think im gonna get a stage 11 block from slowboy and stage 5 head. That equals 16 and thats how many valves i have. Those have to equal up or it wont run right. So if i run an hx40, 1450cc, stage 16 block and head, and do some tuning with the SAFC and maf translator ill be able to blow off my wicked cool SSQV bov i bought from a buddie of mine. He says those are the best and they never leak too. Which is good. I pulled out the interior ### i wanted to save weight. For everything 100 pounds it says like a quarter sec, so if i pull everything out, i should almost be able to run 12s right there. Im shooting for 9's. Any recommendations guys?

It depends on how many NOS stickers you have. 5 NOS stickers = 1 second in the quarter mile. :thumb:

Well if every 100lbs. lost lowers your time by 0.1sec. than gutting your car to just a seat, steering wheel, gas pedal, motor, turbo, huge FMIC 32-12-3 (thats feet by the way), and a bunch of nos bottles you should be in the negitives in no time.

This should be good for some added armchair horsepower. How much you think its worth? I like how it says Ace hardware on the mounting bracket

It does something or other, doesn't say, but its main feature is that its easy to install like vinyl stickers

Think it's good for .1s ET?

the true secret that people dont know is instead of having your front mount intercooler behind the front bumper you mount it behind your back bumper :thumb: this only works on a 2g due of the roundness of the rear bumper recirculates the air continuously through the intercooler fins resulting in ice cold boost YO
