My Rota's have been perfectly fine and I've hit quite a few potholes in my day. It's so annoying hearing people say "get some real wheels"... dude if I had the cash to drop on some Volk's I wouldn't be ####ing with DSM's.

D2's 18x9 +30mm with 3mm spacers up front

While I love the car and the look, and none of this is against you personally THE_ARTIST, but this is why I hate knock offs. I've got a set of real SSR Professor SP1s - I had them on my IS300 and Talon and I can't tell you how many guys said "hey, nice Rotas"...:ohdamn:....

I do get pissed when people buy the knock off shit because they're too cheap to buy the real thing. SP1 and Work Meisters are forged 3 piece legit rims. Rotas, while they look nice and everyone can argue they are economical, are just copies of high quality wheels.

....when I get the funds I'll be getting the Kosei version of these, from tirerack.

Case.In.Point. Kosei's = legit, Rotas = cheaper knock-off. BTW bro, looks like you have some serious negative camber on the left rear wheel! Or is that just the way the picture was taken?

If you guys with Rotas don't have problems, great! I hope you never do have a problem. But please don't mistake them for a quality wheel like a CCW, BBS, Fiske, Volk, Work, HRE, etc.

The same wheels as THE_ARTIST, yes yes I know. :D 18x9, 30 offset, 235/40/18 RT-615's. I wish I could have purchased a set of Volks or Advans, but at the time cash was tight and the car needed new wheels so I could drive it. Rota's may be a knock-off but I was still surprised at how good they actually look in person. Yeah it's not a true 3-piece but I guarantee 95% of the people that see my car wouldn't know or care. My next wheels will mostly likely be from CCW. ;)

Those rims are hot, do they come in time attack style?

I've seen flat wheel face ones with the TA look, but not the concave ones I was looking at. I've been debating about doing the red TA stripes on mine but am not sure how the would look with my car color.

Not to offend anybody, but what's up with this?

Same type of thing that happened to these:

Camber was way off on the car. I have fixed it though. I took those pictures the first day I got the car. I waxed it and made it look all pretty, and now the wheel sits like its supposed to

Just removed 30-something posts. This is a picture thread, guys.

If you want to discuss wheel design, origin, quality, whatever, feel free to start a new thread. And don't be affraid to have a discussion without personal attacks. :thumb:

Yes, finally! Thank you sir.

Those look great! How was the fitment? Being 9 inches wide including the tires I would think there would be some rubbing while cornering or something. Also what brand tires did u go with

Thanks, from lip to lip as you can see they are about 10". Fitment is better than I expected. I went with the thin tire 225 to experiment with fitment, but it could most likely fit a 235 as well as a 245-255 on a 35 series tire. I have a picture of the gap at the knuckle which I will post as soon as I find it. No rubbing at all under any condition.

Here are 18x9.5 +20

I hate you. That is the same setup/sizes I wanted to run eventually. Looks dope.

fulanititoo8198--do you have any more pictures of the grids from farther away as well as the boost's?
looks real good

Ditto except on a +30 offset and 8.5 wheel. Would rather not have to pull the fenders to make the wheels not stick out.

Can you get another pick fulan of how far the wheels stick out? Because I looks like they come out about an inch.

+20 is a lot of poke, but it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. Is there any chance you could post some bigger pictures of the whole car with these wheels? Like a rear shot, side and angle?

Nice looking car btw. It's cool to see another EVO brake conversion. :thumb:

ok so 3 people have requested more pics of fulanititoo8198's car...someone get him back in this thread for more pics!

Hi I will post them up as soon as I find them. I have my final exam in a few days and haven't looked through the 28k or so photos in my hard drive.

Some old pictures I found. Rota Subzero 17x7.5 + 45, If I remeber correctly they weigh in just under 17lbs
