^SICK... it'll be about everyone trying to catch up to john shep LOLo or a whole movie on me trying to get my car to start.. LOLo

The movie should be about paul having the usual mitsu problem. where he has to keep the car alive to catch the bad guys...
Or the movie about him bitching about mitsu.

It should be all about him needing NOS and not the small ones, the big ones, two of them. Then the rest of the movie could be about his battle with a heavy foot.

I love them all its entertainment, i dont get wrapped up in all the good and bads with the movies Ill be there opening night.

Me too, its still entertaining to me. If every movie or any form of entertainment had to be 100% realistic then nothing would be entertaining at all. You would also never wanna play a video game

This ems to be placed after the fourth one due to the fact the write up states. Brian and Mia break dom out of custody and the fles across boarders and such. Dom wasn't in custody until the end of the fourth movie.

Opening night is funny for these movies because you know you can expect to see every kid in town pull in with their ricer

...and you know you're going to hear a few tire chirps when they leave

I think the worst thing about every one after the 1st is all the crappy CG. The first one used camera tricks and effects to get the shots. The other ones just used CG. The EVO vs Camaro in the 2nd one when it's neck and neck, also when the Yenko jumps onto the boat. Tokyo Drift had it's fair share of CG when what's his face learns to drift and starts beating people and in the final scene down the hill. The 4th one in the tunnels and when the Charger crashed... it looks terrible and cheesy.

Actually both Tokyo Drift and #4 (Fast and Furious) have a very small amount of CG. After the shitstorm of 2F2F's cartoonish race scenes, they did most of the scenes in Tokyo Drift live-action.

Hell you can youtube the tokyo drift end race dam hill sequence, they did so many outtakes its unreal.

Only thing horrid about Fast and Furious was the GPS "overlay" mode.......everything else was on par with any other action movie with cars.

I expect #5 will be no different. Mostly live-action race sequences with CGI enhancements as standard with any action movie.

I'll admit that I went to the opening night of the last movie, and I'll be at the opening night for the next one as well. As stated before me, I like them for the entertainment. And the last movie was great at the theatre because after it was done, I heard VTEC about 10 times over and over. Good times with good laughs.

I'm not really sure why I still enjoy watching these movies, but I do. As someone said in an earlier post, a good movie and an entertaining movie are two completely different things and don't have to be one in the same. A lot of the cars in the earlier movies look awful and are responsible for 95% of horribly modified cars on the road, but yet I watch the movies anyway. I'm pretty sure it's just because there aren't many alternatives as far as car movies go. Until someone makes a better car movie we'll all keep watching F&F. I do however think the quality of cars has gotten better (see Skyline in 2nd compared to the one in 4th) so I look forward to the new movie more then any of the previous ones.

Give it a few more years. They will come out with "fast and the furious 15, Jazzies of doom"

Paul and Dom will be drag racing down the hallways of the old folks home hitting on the young nurses and fighting over stolen viagra and diabetes test equipment.

Wether you hate what this cult classic did for our car scene or love it either way you'll watch it at some point. Anything to keep the younger generations interested in cars and keep hollywood making money.

I'll admit it. I own all of the movies. watched them all countless times and i'll continue to watch new additions just because its an action movie with some decent looking cars in it

Well I can say The fast and The Furious is what helped me into the dsm scene. At the time my sister had a 95 ESI I got to drive it home the day she got it (she could not drive stick). At the time is was the first and fastest sports car I had driven, I could not believe I could spin first chirp second and slightly chirp third LOL. Then a year later TF&TF came out I got more interested and started looking into dsm's. Then I got an Avenger in '02 and started more research. In '03 was given my first dsm by a friend.

But on another side note I went to visit my sister in '02 and seen Paul Walker eating at TGI Fridays on South Beach in Miami during the time he was filming 2fast 2furious.
