ok guys i have my motor out again being rebuilt and this time i wont to go back with a NON MODULAR CLUTCH set up. so i wont to know exactly what i need to order. i have did a lot of research but i just wont to double check on what parts i need. i know i will have to have the flywheel, a clutch disc and a pressure plate out of a 95 dodge neon 2.0 n/t right??? and also the longer neon bolts for the flywheel. i am going to try to order it all new so any help would be great.

i was looking around and heres a post i found:

I dont understand why you would want to do this but you would need the flywheel from a 95 Neon. The bolts for the flywheel will be needed as well. Then buy your clutch for a 95 neon with a non-mod setup.

I think Spec makes a non-mod setup and I am sure Southbend clutch will make you one. Most others require you to go modular.

You understand that, with a non-modular setup, installing the trans will be more of a chore to get the trans input shaft lined up with the splines of the clutch and everytime you replace the clutch you will have to pay a machine shop to resurface the flywheel, right?

How's about you click on search; type in "non modular parts" (or you can type in "non mod parts" for more results); click on "420a Drivetrain Tech"; then click on enter. Or you can just go down two threads and read this; http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/420a-drivetrain-tech/381914-need-help-clutch-installation.html , where you will find your information.

Yes, when you search you sometimes have to go through info that may not pertain to exactly what you want. But that is part of the hard work of pressing a few buttons and reading (plus you may learn something in the process).

wow no need to get rude. it was a easy question. and i did do my research but i could never find a good answer on the year model car. just wonted to double check with someone that might know more then me. I thought that was the point of dsmtuners. and also a good reason why i became a supporting member. well i guess i was wrong. i will go somewhere else for help next!

For anyone still reading this thread, I support buying the Fidanza NON MODULAR aluminum flywheel and clutch setup. I've seen people sell them for great prices used. And considering the replaceable contact surface on the flywheel, why not! :D

unless you can get the neon parts free then hey... do it.
