Most of us park our DSM's in the winter mainly to rip them apart to make them faster (and us more broke).

Just wanted to see what you guys are driving in.

I'm picking up a 95 talon esi this week, pics will come soon.

I drive this.

<<<------

It can't wait for snow. I throw 4 snow tires on it and beat the crap out of it all winter.

I seriously bought my car for getting around in the snow. It just so happened that I eventually found out about modifying my car after I had to fix it due to black ice crash damage.

Oh how time flies.

same as it is every other day of the year :D

2000 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD w/ 5.9l V8

it can and has towed eclipses :p 'tis my mommy-mobile/grocery getter/daily driver

I picked up a new winter vehicle a few months ago. 98 GSX, stock height FTW!!! Should be fun, not sure if I want to put my studs on or not though. It came with a different set of 17s with studs but I never needed anything special on the Talon for winter driving so we will see I guess.

Well, right now it's my only driver, as the Talon is sitting behind my work with it's engine out. 1997 Dodge Intrepid Squad. 260,000 miles, original engine, never rebuilt.

Just discovered I have a flood light out, going to have to fix that tomorrow.

My old daily I miss a lot, but I bought it for $1900 and sold it for $2700 without putting a penny into it.
It only got 15-17mpg in the city and I got a job that is all commuting so I decided to get something better on gas + make a big profit selling it.
Was extremely nice, I've bought 5k+ cars multiple times and none were as nice as this. Everything worked, was quiet and smooth and reliable. Highly recommend these cars!

You are the first person I've ever heard recommend an SVX. LOL
Glad you had good luck with one.

They're super nice cars.
The only thing I ever hear complaints about are the transmissions.
But mine was perfect and I didn't have any issues.. and I even spiritedly drove it a few times. Pulled decent for a car that weighed of a yacht with 230bhp

They're not fun to work on at all, but other then that as long as oil changes are kept up, and the belts are done on time and other maintenance, it'll be reliable I.

Was an awesome car

89 firebird ftw! i cant wait for no traction!

It's a dark shot, but I love my beater. Debating on throwing gears & LT headers at it and seeing if it'll break 13's :D

2009 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4....doing what I bought it to do!

Up until about a month ago my daily was a '98 Sunfire GT. My girlfriend blew up her '69 bug so she started driving the sunfire and my new daily/ toy is a '94 Impreza Wagon. Perfect daily in my eyes... AWD, 5 spd, comfortable, lots of room, and 27mpg. I painted to hub caps gold, have a rally light bar that is currently getting welded up which also will be gold with 2 6" offroad lights mounted, and its getting an exhaust.

I dive the 07 Camry hybrid I bought for my fiancee everyday. She however drives my 06 RAM 1500 2x4 big horn edition, that put leather in to. It has the stock 20's with wide nitto all terrains.

But since winter here is more like summer up north once my spyder is on the road in a few more weeks I will be DD'n it.

Whats a 'Winter Beater' ?

My winter beater is usually whichever car is not broken at the moment. LOL

My GSX is supposed to be my winter beater. It is getting a brand new IPT transmission done high stall torque converter too; it should hopefully be done before the snow comes!

A 95 Bonneville is my daily, even in snow, until the ice comes. Then the Talon is the only thing worth even trying to get up and down my hill in. But the Bonneville needs the new fuel tank installed, and I never have time. The one shop quoted me nearly 300 just for the labor, so that'll go on the next time weather and time are on my side.

haha i have a 5 speed 95 tsi thats parked and i just picked up an automatic 91 tsi awd for my winter beater..(kind've a strange winter beater ### its still sweet but i like my 2g better)
