I simply don't understand...More than half of Californian's smoke marijuana on the regular and me visiting there often I see everyone there smoking..

I myself have a Michigan Medical Card, If maybe you guys could chime in on what you think about legalization and what it would bring. (Not trying to start an argument or debate just want to know your side and thoughts of it.)

P.S. No I am not a huge pothead but I do have chronic back pain and mild OCD, before getting laid off for slow down reasons I was an honest, tax paying and caring person who worked 50+ hours a week without any slack, and still being only 20 I still think thats something to be proud of. Now doing side jobs most of the time I still pull more weight than most to make ends meet so dont 'Critique' me.

What are your thoughts on the Legalization of MJ in Cali?

I read it somewhere in the California Drug and Alcohol Department about 2 years ago when the big boom of Medical Cards started hitting. Not only are there thens of thousands with cards, there also thousands that smoke it illegaly and thousands that don't smoke it, but still approve of it.

I watched a moderate or independent news station do a piece on the man who started prop 19, and about him and his reasons why he smokes. I watched it on youtube and was really well done. He seemed like a very honest man and seems to be doing it for a good reason. Im all for that.

What im against, is that when you have a nation that is about to smoke weed all day, nothing gets done. As Daniel Tosh put it, "I have important things to do." All ill say is ive tried but i dont want to go into to many details, but i now understand how it can lead to trying different more stronger things. And anyone who says that they havent even thought about it, is lying to themselves.

well, immigration crack down is a different issue that needs to be resolved...Moderate to large business owners love immigrants. They work for less for especially contractors, they have a different sense of work ethic, and if you havent noticed..Large business owners sort of run the country into the ground.

even if they dont legalize it they are still gonna smoke it. I think they should just legalize but put a limit to it just like alcohol... Like if you get caught smoking and driving that would be a loss of license and a $1,500 kinda like a DUI. it might work idk... I really dont see the point of smoking weed but thats my opinion.

I agree, and I like that you don't see a point in smoking that proves that when its legalized, only the people doing it illegally are going to do it legally..give or take a few million people...

Well, legal or not, I will still smoke it. I dont understand either,but I personally think that alot of people that vote no, are the sellers who rely on the income that wouldnt be there if it were to be legalized. Even though the sellers might smoke,they want to smoke and still to keep the money coming.

HAHA. Good. Like i said, ive tried, but no means need it. Its like drinking, its fun to do, and its something else to do rather than go drink. Its similarly as releasing as alcohol is, but just slightly different. My first time though i was TRIPPIN!

Oh yeah, i remember reading in the rules that talking about things like bananas, hemp, strawberry's and whatever grows in the ground that DOESNT have to be manipulated and chemically changed (like real drugs) to have any effects on you is..

I could just imagine how you were acting ... A friend of mine, he is an older guy, he does it once in a while. One day I just asked him why he did it and he told me it was because he works so much and it puts so much stress on him and weed made him relax. which I can believe what it does

It was bad . It was twitching and couldnt stop laughing, and everything slowed down to a crawl hahaha.

My position is i could care less on what you do or what you put inside your body, as long as it as no affect on me. And when it does, thats when laws are put into place.

I dont think until you have people killed everyday in America like what is happening in Mexico is going through, will you have a change in what this ban on drugs means to everyone. Just like prohibition, in the 20's and 30's, it wasnt worth stopping people from doing what they want to do and risk losing the thousands of lives.

i dont let it take over my life, my younger brother on the other hand smokes 24/7 smokes himself retarded, dropped out of school, lives on the streets selling, stealing breaking into house. in ways i could see how its wrong kills your brain cells makes you not care for others or yourself

First: Do you happen to know the name of the movie/whatever you want to call it, because I'd really like to see it.
Now to the subject at hand: I have not smoked up in over a year because the medicine I'm on messes with it and I get motion sickness all day from it which is the worst. I believe that they should legalize it to a certain extent. Like you can only have this much on you and if you get caught with more than you face consequences. NO where near as bad as the consequences that are in right now. The government could tax it just as they do cigarettes or alcohol. Stores could be able to sell it in a box just like cigarettes. I will also say that if Virginia ever legalized at least medical marijuana I'd be the first to go and stop taking all my medicines for anxiety/depression etc.

NOW I believe that they need to work on other things first and pot can wait a little longer. No I'm not talking about the economy or health care. I'm talking about the state of our education system, and getting that fixed and a lot better; because lets face it our school systems suck. It's amazing what I learned after school.

I'd be happy as pie if the law was passed. I believe it should be passed and taxed.

with alcohol, you can provide a breathalizer or the field sobriety test's.

with marijuana it's hard to tell when the last time you smoked was, and i myself have never heard of anyone smoking pot, and driving, killing someone.
