hello im starting my first full enginge build and i got a couple questions.

93 eclipse 4g63t 7 blot

this is what i have so far
injen intake, full magnaflow 3" exhaust, evo ported headers, light weight cam gears and i just came up on a evo8 16g turbo and i need to know what to do to get the most out of it??

what is the best bore specs?

is 272 cams the best choise??

best injectors?

i know i need to upgrade my fuel pump & oil pump/is there anything else i should upgrade?

thank you guys in advance for all your advice

The best bore spec is to bore it as little as it takes to clean it up . usually thats .020 oversize . but that's just me, you'll find alot of different opinions here. you can make some decent power on stock cams and evo 560's is a minimum for injector size but id go bigger like 650's and up depending what you have to tune and log with. just a thought

I'd wait on the cam's, there will be plenty of other, more necessary, things for you to spend you money on at this moment.

I'd definitely suggest you purchase ECMLink asap.

IMO the best part about owning DSMLink is how it encourages the user to struggle through learn every inch of their vehicles run-process. DSMLink facilitates learning by visually showing the user what's happening when changes are made, making owning and modifying a DSM more tangible, and tuning your creation more quantifiable.

Don't forget to set aside some extra cash for a Mitsu or Kevlar timing belt, timing belt tensioner, and other maintenance items.

Sounds like fun, I'm jealous! In fact, I may tare mine apart, too.

That EVO8 turbo won't bolt right up to your car. Might as well try to sell it and buy a genuine MHI Evo3 16G. Don't bore the cylinder walls unless absolutely necessary. The machine shop will tell you if you need them bored or not. HKS 272, Delta 272's, or FP2's are some of the best drop in cam choices out there. None of them require valvetrain modifications as long as you keep it under 8k rpm. Personally, I wouldn't go any smaller than 660's for injectors if running the EVO3 16G. Def. pick up a Walbro 255LPH fuel pump (if your car is a 1G FWD, you want the GSS-342 pump). If you replace the oil pump/front case, get ONLY OEM front case. Do NOT get an aftermarket unit. OEM is going to be more expensive in this case, but in the long run, def. a better choice.
