I have the gst and my friend has a mustang. I have to question which is better stock and which is better to mod?

Some NOS on the 'Stang and it'll go pretty quick. Not super cheap but not that expensive either. The extra cubic inches are nice.

I'm not raggin' on FWD owners, I have one myself....just making the obvious point that 300+whp FWD's are quite difficult to get power to the ground.

I agree, its going to be extremely hard to move that car, well pull that car.

I need 3 NOS Fogger kits overnight parts from japan pl0x.

put it on my tab at Harrys:p:p

stock for stock the mustang wins

With some mods (intake, bov, mbc, exhaust), the gs-t will take the mustang if it is still stock.

If both have minor mods the mustang wins.

If the gs-t gets a 16g with other normal upgrades and the mustang has basic bolt ons, then the gs-t takes it, but not by alot.

I should know, I have a 2004 Gt with all bolt-ons and my GF has a 99 gsx with bolt-ons.

To the guy talking about his 98 GT. Yeah, they ARE slow. Slowest mustang GT's you can buy. Starting in 99 the GT got new heads and cams, bumping power output by 50 at the crank. The 4.6l is a good engine, it just needs expensive mods to make it quick, such as better cams and full length headers. With full bolts on and cams, the GT will be putting just over 300 to the wheels, with over 320tq.

GS-T will be quicker with less money spent than the GT.

Still get some wider tires in the front and a 14b with basic Mods (intake, exhaust, ect.) Don't forget a boost gauge and you will pull on stangs all day.

I agree....except i had a 16g turbo and mbc....thats what i did...my friends gt stang cant keep up with me even tho he has cams, exhaust, intake, chip'd.... by 3rd gear i start pulling on him :hellyeah:

:nono: no to stangs
