Im plannin on running this turbo with a fully built motor, trans, pretty much everything. Anyone know if this could hit at least 450 WHP, if not im just going to upgrade before i even tune it. Im on 1050cc injectors as well.

Not sure who the highest person Dynoing on it is but the fastest track times are from Lucas and he dyno'd 404whp on an auto so yes that is roughly 430-450whp on a 5spd.. Giver or take..

On E85 you could likely do it, and a built motor/head/cams are pretty much needed to get there

500 crank horsepower, sure. 500 wheel horsepower, not likely. I am not sure how this could even be remotely possible. The turbo is rated at 47-lbs/min. You cannot squeeze more power out of the turbo. True, porting everything will allow power to be made easier. Just view the turbo as a point of restriction. I would say that you need a turbo somewhere in the 50-52-lbs/min in my opinion.

Fast forward 2 years... How did the car do at the track.
Tony's best with the HTA68 was a 10.832 @ 131.67mph with a 1.57 60'. On that same pass he ran a 6.972 @ 104.40mph in the 1/8th.

Not sure what the weight of the car is but I'm fairly certain there's some decent weight savings mods and he's running a built, high comp 10.5:1 2.0l short block and ported head both built by BP. Tony recently moved on to a DSM86 (bolt-on 35R) and is making over 600awhp, so he won't be making anymore passes on the 68.

The middle time slip was his best pass on the HTA68 but those are all 3 passes on that turbo...

10.8@131 is flying damm nice work
Yes it is, just trying to get my car to trap 130mph on the stock long block (with FP2 cams) with this turbo has proven difficult. Buying an HTA68 and expecting to run 10.9XX @ 13Xmph right out the gate isn't realistic, nice to know it's possible though with the right setup and someone that knows how to drive sitting behind the wheel.

Man that's a nice setup corey I was thinking about that turbo for what it does a great street turbo im not looking for lots of boost just a nice turbo with fast spool and some nice power.

14b ;-) for fast spool.

Yea i realize that 131mph aren't the norm.. I Have been running the 12.6 class with my t28/stock cam just looking to move up the the 11.6 index class and thinking this or the green should do it easy.. I'm fwd still though

Im curious as to what the weight is on these passes for comparison purposes

I can't speak for the weight of Tony's car but you can see the weight of my car in my signature and the times I've ran with my (similar) setup, that's not including me in the driver seat.

Never got around to weighing the car. I have a carbon fiber hood and trunk. No AC, full interior, and no spare tire along with all ~250lbs of me. Those passes were on QTP's as well. The car had gone 10.91 @126mph at the 2013 shootout with no back seats. I think that 60' was around 1.5#ish. Here is the video..
