i bought a xentex 35watt 12000k hid full kit from ebay on sale for $36.00 shipped a week ago and they are very nice and bright i had the other lights you talked about before i got the hid's and its a big difference for the better

just my input,,the other day i was pulled over in my evo by the state patrol. he told me my lights were to bright. but i said my car came with hids from the factory. he checked them and said they were ok to have, but if the car didnt come with factory hids and i put them it was ilegal to do, hope in your area they dont bug u about it.

If you want these for visibility then get either a 4300k or 5000k kit; anything above that and you are sacrificing light output for color. 12000k and that ilk will give you a blue/purple color and less actual light output than stock.Source

i have SharpHid kits on my 99 GSX, my 2004 Accord, and my wife's 2000 Elantra, all 4300k and the light output is incredible. The only car that i can see better at night in is our 2011 Outback-- the factory headlight/fog light combo is incredible.

Whatever HID kit you go with please dear god adjust your cut-off pattern so you aren't blinding everyone in a 3 mile radius when you drive.

Loving the responses I'm getting.
EclipseTical I'll definitely adjust.
I ordered some 6000K HIDs.
I had Siverstars in my old Honda, they made everything clearer, but it seemed like I had to be closer to things to see them. The reflective paint lit up better I guess is what I'm saying.
I know there are some dark gravel roads here in Oklahoma and that's why I wanted brighter head lights. Not trying to run off into a ditch or hit a deer doing 50 especially in my baby.

DDM 55W 6000K HID kit.....with stock 98 headlight housings....works great. Look at my profile for pictures....I definitely recommend these

Gringo, the picture looks good but how well can you see the road? I hate the look of projectors so I'd love to use my stock '98 housings but I know the light will be scattered.

I have a sharpHID kit that works awesome and was very easy to install
