Okay I'll bite. This is a serious question though, and I'm more interested in what I should be setting my goals at.

Planned mods (some are on the car now, some aren't) to be run on stock internals:

s16g ported to high hell
3" turbo back exhaust (no cat)
660 injectors
afpr
evo IX fuel pump
hard intake and k&n fpik
ets or vrsf FMIC
Upgraded head studs
Wideband, boost, oil pressure gagues
MBC
Flashable ECU, and evoscan/ ecuflash

Basically I'm looking to run 20-22 psi, and I'm wondering it's reasonable for me to expect 300whp out of these mods with a reasonable tune. I'd like the tune to be on the safe side, so if the car is going to have to be tuned within an inch of it's life obviously I'll lower my expectations. Can 300 whp even be reached running that psi on a s16g?

It's doable, but you'll probably need more boost than that, and you'll need a good tune on good gas. You don't have much room for error unless you really know how to wring the power out of it.

Most of the n00bs probably don't even know what bench racing is. Therefore they wont read this thread.. Meaning Ill get frustrated every day LOL

Agreed ^

Chris is just feeling playful today. :)

KidTsi, I see your point, but what do you expect? There are going to be a bunch of smart-ass responses in a thread that is meaningless to begin with; that's just human nature.

If you think there is a serious answer to be found, then post up and just ignore the goofiness. Someone may give you a serious (but useless) answer to a serious (but useless) question. Pretty soon this initial silliness will fade, and then the thread will be full of nothing but the serious silliness. :D

Sorry, i don't ask how much my car run on 1/4 mile or how much horses it has, if i want to know i would take it to the track/dyno so don't expect questions from me in here, i'm just saying, but hey is cool i know what your saying too. ;)

#### yea. I've been waiting for a thread like this for a while.

I wanted to find out what my new car can run in the 1/4. It has a 420a in it but the guy I bought it from said he put 4g63 pistons and crank in it so it is good for boost. The rest of it is pretty much stock, but we all know that these cars are beasts. It has a t3/t4 turbo, upgraded sinkrows, turbo timer, and huge fmic.

He said it will run 10s with a tune, so I bought a chip off ebay and it pulls so hard. I can't wait to smoke some vettes and vipers.

What do you think it'll run? Maybe high 9's with slicks?

That's what I was afraid of, especially because we only have 91 piss water out here in Iowa. I suppose I can up the boost to 25, but can a stock HG hold that much boost? I'll have headstuds, but I'm worried about the gasket. This is my DD so I'd much rather play it safe.

The OEM Mitsu composite gasket should hold 25 psi all day long with good studs. Your problem is going to be IAT's and knock on that small turbo at that amount of boost; especially on 91 frog piss.

People actually had to tell me to shut up at work because im laughing so hard at this. My eyes are seriously tearing up feom laughter.

Nice thread.
How much hp will vtak camz add to my ride y0 ? WTF

Alright....Since we can I've been wanting to ask this for a LONG time..

I have a spare 1G in storage. I bought it off of some crazy haired old man in town. He said he was broke and all he had was this car to sell so he could make it. For $200 I took it, had lots of awesome gauges and such already installed to it saved me the hassle of having to find them. I don't know what a "Temperance" gauge does but it looks wicked.

I've done all kinds of crazy stuff to it. I really wanna know what I can run in it. It's a manual of course so when I hit the clutch I lose all of that power being built up and have to start again in the next gear, but I feel like my flux capacitor should take up the extra baggage. I've routed my intercooler to the trunk and sat the piping both feeding into and out of the intercooler in custom boxes where dry-ice goes.

I just wanna make sure that I can hit 88 in the 1/4 without NOS. If I can't then that's fine.. I can just set up a 4 stage 20 port induced shot to each cylinder and easily make it.. but I really want the car to run off of it's own power and not that of NOS.

I put diamond plated floormats over my NOS bottles in the hopes of keeping everything together in the event that they explode. The Ambient equalizer bar graph on my laptop shows that I'm pushing the right amount of HP but I might be running a little too lean and might fry my piston rings and cause damage to my manifold.

Thanks for your input guys... this has really been bothering me.

How much HP and I running when my on board laptop flashed a "danger in manifold" message when I'm running a 300 shot of NAWZ direct port? And does that message mean that my car is going to explode if some aisans on motorcycles shoot at it?

Hmmm :hmm: It depends on what color your exhaust flames are. Also, what type of neon are you running? Without this info, we can't help you here.

your timing is being pulled so much that is in the manifold already. it means danger! if your manifols start knocking it might crack the welds.

This thread would be nice if every jack-off on the site didn't post bullshit. It would be nice if experinced guys could give some noobs a ballpark of what they are gonna run/put down. But no, every tom dick and harry that thinks they know somthing has gotta say some dumb shit.

Anyway.

2.0 Eagle Wiseco, Hks 272 with Evo 8 beehives, 1g Intake, twin scroll t3 8 blade HX35 in a 20cm housing, E85, front mount with 2.5" piping , 3" turbo back , speed density, 25 psi 12.5:1 afr's 19* timing

What should it make/run. I think 450ish whp, and mid 11's.

The chassis has a built trans, AGX with prokit, and weighs 3350

OK. So i got this car and it has some damage to the front and engine compartment. If I spend about 15 grand, get parts overnighted from japan, will it desimate ALL? And can someone put it on their tab at H***Y'S? HAHAHA
