Dodge dealership. And I'm pretty sure there is an o-ring that's supposed to go between there.

A friend of mine gave me a Holset turbo back when I didn't know what they were.
Turns out it's a HY35.
It has the internally wastegated 9cm^2 open T3 hotside, OE oil return line, OE 90* V-Band Elbow for the compressor outlet and a robust Holset Internal Wastegate Actuator.

Let me know if you want the V-Band and Elbow for your set-up.
I can get some pics this evening when I get home.

Ok guys... here's the most current pictures of my progress. If anyone was considering the Punishment Racing "Budget" T3 manifold, here you go, the manifold is not bolted down all the way yet as the compressor housing hits the water pipe. Just a little dent will fix this:

Just went to the track sat. and got a personal best of 11.4 @125 with an HX-35 7 blade in a .55 bolt on housing. I have the time slip but didn't get that on tape. I did get a few 11.5 runs on you tube. YouTube - Dsm HX-35 11.54

For a video of one of my dyno pulls fast foward to about 8:34 on the link below. That was my first pull of 3. My second pull was the best with 350.4 AWHP on a quick 5 min tune my buddy did with me at the track on 27psi. This was on a dyno dynamics dyno, which even the dyno techs told me read low. I'm thinking as is, close to 400, but i would like it to be closer to 500 :coy:

Also a video of my car at the ECMLink drag day on a HX35 7 blade on the same 350hp 27psi tune. I got a new best that day with a 1.75 60' and E/T was 1.72 @117mph I know i know, i bogged second gear bad LOL, could have done a lot better.

Enjoy.

Oh and btw for anyone who doesnt know. im the one who found the flange that lets you run 12an fittings. so please pat me on the back :)
Im going with an hx52 with a top mount manifold. you can find this setup in the classifieds. Its all new never used.

Fit on the tcase is good. It will be wraped with dei titanium heat wrap. The oil filter also screws off without removing the downpipe.

Well it was fun while it lasted; all 1500 miles or so. :)

HX-40 carnage

Still trying to figure out how it happened. Car was running great and then... POW! Like hitting a wall and a ton of smoke.

Can't "play" it while at work. I'm assuming it's a video??

What the heck is jcs automation?

Holy shit man, that sucks! That was some carnage for sure. What's next? Sticking with the holset or you going to try something else?

Is this the billet wheel 7 blade?? It measure to 60mm but I don't no what to look for in the billet.

Its really shinny and looks to have machining marks on them.

^Your last sentence is why I'm thinking it is billet.

Calan I'd say go to a HX35 and have a street beast with TQ and response.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the backplate on an (baby) H1C is the exact same as the H1E back plate. If you wanna make an h1c and h1e hybrid all you have to do is pull the compressor housings and the compressor wheel and it bolts right on. I know because i put together my h1e hybrid last night.

Sure looks to be a billet wheel to me, you can definately see the machining/cut marks on the wheel

Just wanted to post up that my holset 35 has been alive and well on my car for just over 300 miles now. I got the car finally legal and road worthy on this past thursday and took it to englishtown on saturday and autocrossed it today at a local corvette club event. I have ALOT of tuning ahead of me as the car has a bad idle surge, and breaks up bad when I stab the gas but if I gradually get into it then it seems to be better. The few times it ran somewhat ok it was building 20psi by 3800ish rpm. Launch control at 5700 shows about 12psi. Boost gauge tops out at 20 so a new one is on order. Turbo at this point doesnt show any more shaft play then when it was installed which was minimal side to side and no in and out. Oil pressure is unknown other then factory gauge and the turbo is being fed from the oil pressure warning light switch port with -4 line and no restrictor. Motor is a stock 6 bolt bottom end with 113k with balance shafts and oil squirters intact. Im running 10w-30 non synthetic oil with 1quart lucas oil stabilizer if anyone was curious about the oil.
