Im looking for a DSM tuning shop in the 757 that can tune my gst on ECMLINK. I perfer something close before having to drive 3hrs to get to MachV Motorsports.. any other suggestions? Thanks

What about ETmotorsports in bridgewater va. Dj is the owner and a great tuner as well

Have you tried All Aspect Motorsports?
I know they do alot of tuning around here from track cars to Daily Driven cars and have a good Rep

Yes I know this is old haha But im a VA guy and will be asking the same question soon so let us know your results and where you went

That guy watch out :) That's for the nice words Pete. Your car does seem to run ok ? OH Fyi Wayne wants to do a pull in the new Z06 Procharged pump gas Monster !!! should be fun sure you still wanna do the smaller upgrade ????

If you still need some help down here in the 757 give me a shout.

i typically run the abacus dyno for fwd, all aspects for awd and the street for all part throttle stuff.

all aspects dyno is better :) but the kid is super slack about setting up the appropriate amount of fans. so definitely heads up on that one.

Call Dave at ForeignMuscle.com, or Brad at brookstuned.com

Not the time or place. I have numerous customers from even farther then (757). I have 2 cars from PA right now. So for some distance isn't a huge issue. we have went not crazy #'s but we have went 101mph in the 1/8 on radials and full weight AWD , our Colt trapped 114mph 1/4 with a BONE Stock 1.6 w/ over 300,000 mile on it. Shleppy's car goes way over 500hp on pump gas and a small gt30. We have the most decorated SA car in Shoot Out History it won 2x and placed 3x (or vice versus) with a 200,000 motor on a true small 16g head had never been off car "egls Fly"
oh that was a 7 year span car wasn't crazy fast but did trap 110mph went 12.49 all day oh yea car is still running today 1990 awd .. drove to Ohio and back every year (ps this was when you had to run a stock MAF or VPC)

You are correct not the time or the place. I'm just gonna keep my opinion to myself, I'd much rather have my car tuned in front of me with people I know and trust. That way I learn and get it tuned at the same time.

As you should with all your car needs

If you knew the first thing about me you would know I don't meet eye to eye with the shops around here, and I gave my opinion that he should find something local instead of driving all the way here, and if he did go here I would recommend the other shop.

DJ is an excellent tuner, I have seen his work time and time again, he is a VERY stand-up guy. I would suggest ET Motorsports for anything you need. I will stand behind him any day of the week.

BTW at the 09 shootout I believe the "other shop" went slower than stock MPH in the 1/4.

I am really not feeling that statement . tuning a gas motor is tuning yea some cars benefit from more timing less timing richer , leaner depending own rod ratio compression ect ect .. but tuning is tuning IMO

dave at ForeignMuscle.com is the man:thumb: he tunes people in the richmond area

sorry matt, that comment was not directed towards you.

As you shouldnt be. I will try hard to add more sarcasm next time.

Tuning is tuning. Doesnt matter what car, what system they all work the same.

Sure there are preferences for systems and what not. But this is more opinion than science. People just like what they like :)

What fuel you are tuning for makes much more difference than the platform you are tuning on.

I was merely suggesting to make outlandish claims to somehow substiantiate yourself is kinda dumb.

Small gt30 over 500hp on pump gas? Is that even impressive?

I come from kind of a different world than you guys, but im coming back around to imports since i relocated to the east coast {alot cooler things to get into with engines out west ;0 }

Heres a little video for your entertainment. Our car is the black n green one. ls1 twin t88 about 12psi, Mendeola Sequential 4 spd. At that boost level the Arizona Speed and Marine dyno shut down as limits were exceeded at 4krpm :)

Well if that is true, then thats just funny, but I never said I actually got the other shop to tune my car. I don't get shops to tune for me, and you can stand behind him all you want while a lot of other people won't come anywhere near him. We all live in a small area, word spreads. I'm just tired of beating this dead horse.

this is a little off topic... but i was searching around on craigslist for a car for my brother, and i came across atleast 6 eclipse's for sale for less than $2500... pretty decent shape (or atleast they look that way in the pictures) in the "hampton roads" section of craigslist. so if any of you guys are searching for another one, check it out LOL. i might pick one up if i had the money to do so. but i don't, so i figured i'd let y'all know

Get in touch with this guy....he's met / driven to / tuned cars for guys in your state before. :thumb:

Not trying to impress. "Our customers" after 14 years in business seem to be satisfied. We try to make everyone happy, which any shop owner will tell you is impossible. I don't make outlandish claims nor do I bash anyone, it really strikes me as funny that someone whom I have never worked for is all over tuners bashing me (there is a story behind his anger that has nothing to do with him and he doesn't know the whole story). You don't wanna come here don't I prefer you take your marbles and go elsewhere. This will be the last post responding to his statements flame on and my last post to anything said about me or the shop by haters. People make you own decisions if you need a hand I am always willing to help. I was and will always be a DSM'er.

Ask this question on VADriven (or better yet search on it)... I only used the domestic shops back in VA though so I can't vouch for the DSM side of the house tuning, but I do remember hearing a lot of bad things about the local guys in the Hampton Roads area so who knows.
