So the windows in my Spyder have been working fine since I bought it a month ago. I put the top down yesterday and all the windows went down as usual, then when I went to put the top up, the rear drivers side window wouldnt go up. I took the rear speaker out and tried to see if anything had come loose or disconnected and found a black plug just hanging there in behind where the motor is. I cant see where the plug goes but I know that the motor has power due to the fact I can hear it clicking when I try to put the window up or down. Also the window motor was warm/hot when I touched it. Does the black plug have something to do with it? Could it be the switch? How do I get it back into position as is? Cheers

i would look again at the wire plug hanging. see if it looks like its clean compared to the rest of it. thats my giveaway. i don't normally think the motor should be hot. as to get the window back in place im at a loss for that. good luck in your quest.
