im looking to upgrade my setup to the bw s366. i have wiesco pistons 9:1 and eagle h beam rods. just wondering if my setup would hold the horsepower the turbo will put out.

One of the questions you should be asking yourself is "What are my goals with the car?" Be very realistic cause most people want to do something far out of their price range, ability, etc. That turbo is way more than most people need for their goals.

Personally, I'm not impressed with the S366 at all. Ricky (dacowgod) put one on his car with hopes of making around 100whp more than his previous HX40, and the car gained 800rpms of lag and made less horsepower and less torque with more boost over the HX40.

You really need to run a TON of boost with that turbo to get it to move any air. If you're not planning on running at least 30psi, you need to be looking at something smaller.

Hmmmm, Ive ran my fair share of turbos and this is by far the best one I've ever ran. (T4 divided .91ar)

Another guy on this forum just sent 9.6 @ 148 on the T3 S366 (same as Ricky's). Actually, he didnt lose any power, but he barely gained like 10whp after doing a quick "tune" down some side road.

I personally trapped 131 on a pump gas tune and letting off of 4th gear before the traps. I can guarantee that I can trap 130+ on 93 octane at low boost (25psi).

I'll be running it at a test n tune on wednesday after getting dyno tuned. I drive my car every day and this turbo has butt loads of top end. Of course he lost a measly 800 rpm, S366 is much bigger than an hx40.

The S366 is serious business. I hope to make some good numbers in a few days, so we'll see.
