I wear a monocle...will I see a difference?

YouTube - Re: @GStephanopoulos | Old Spice

Sadly, the rest of this thread is making me dumber with every subsequent post. The phenomenal gaps in understanding in a few of the posts here, spoken with such assertiveness, are painful to read.

I need a slow SD card so my phone can "keep up"? "SSD is technically flash but much faster"? "My brother who runs [important tech website] says..."? Jesus, my head hurts.

(Hint: try dialing down the rhetoric, be humble, and people might take you seriously.)

SSDs are NAND flash memory. Same thing as flash drives and cards, but an SSD is build to be much faster. I wouldn't see a need to use slower read speeds to prevent sometihng from bricking. It's not like data is pushed, it's pulled. People run a command line switch for x264 called --slow-first-pass because they say it makes the video a better quality. BS.

Launcher Pro Plus with Fancy Widget (to Mimic the HTC Shit), Matrix Live Wallpaper with the font at minimum, black background and cyan font. Rock Divx Player, Ebay, FB, HTC Flashlight, Gmail, Goggles, Maps with Navigation, MySpace, Nesoid (yes I play Mario constantly!)

Where is a good site to get games for the Nesoid app??

Also, does anyone know how to make the Handcent SMS the default messenger? [I know this was asked already, but I didn't see an answer anywhere so I'm asking again :) ]

Go into the app first are go to settings and remove the notifications for the app. Then go to system, applications, click on the stock mms app, remove defaults, remove cache and you should be good to go.

okay, I understood all of that except "remove cache"

When you go to do it, there is another selection button in there to hit. It should be remove cache. If not, just make sure you hit every button. :thumb:

How come so many?

G1 - First Android phone, got because I was on T-Mobile

MyTouch - Bought and decided I wanted a Sense-Powered phone, gave to gf

European Hero - Sense-Based phones weren't in America yet, worked on T-Mobile because it was unlocked, didn't work on 3G bands though.

Droid - Wanted 3G in my area (Verizon only provider that did have it) so I got this one because it was the best android phone out at the time.

Droid Incredible - GF was coming onto the plan so I got the Incredible for myself and gave her the Droid.

Droid X - Original Droid I only had for a 1 yr contract and Verizon had an early upgrade deal for people with contracts ending in 2010. Gave incredible to GF and got this one. Missed the Incredible so I traded someone my X for their brand new one so now me and the gf have Incredibles currently.

Here is another article explaining task killers, 5th one. Read it and it reminded me of this thread so I wanted to post it.
