Looks like your bumper has seen a few too many drive-thru curbs :D

the roads aren't the kindest here... the vent i did myself actually. i have a tubular manifold so there was a lot of heat getting trapped under there when i was stuck in traffic.

Looks nice. I would just get a little white paint and touch up the bottom of the bumper. Even if the paint isn't a perfect match it will still look better. :)

Looks great aside from the bumper. But that happens. Overall, nice 2g. I like the hood-vent.

looks good but i'd lose that vent on the hood. Get a top mount and then the vent would make sense man

Releasing heat from under the hood always makes sense. A top-mount? Come on, dude.

Very good looking DSM. Yes, the roads are tough on our cars as I was stationed at Schofield from 1996-1999.

+1 for functional vent mod. I'm being patient and looking for the right vent to add to my hood that won't look like crap.

thanks for the comments. ive been meaning to get around to touching up the bumper, i had an excuse why i was waiting but for some reason i cant remember what it was, hahaha... the vent works decently, especially just sitting at idle, you can see the mirage of the heat just pouring out of it.

Very cool picture! I would have love to have my Evo when I went to Oahu for my honeymoon in May. There's a lot of great spots for photos, but youre right, the roads were crap. I wouldnt be able to drive a car like that around that island. We could never get over 35 on coastal roads.

speaking of the roads... i was actually on base (schofield) driving down a road at about 20mph when i hit a pothole hidden by a shadow... i ended up snapping all three studs on the driver side motor mount... that was a fun day... but there are a lot of great places for photo ops, the problem is, though, really no where to "drive" the car... ill try to post up a couple more pics i took a little later today.

sierra vista! LOL...not much else near fort huachuca...

btw which beach is this? it looks like either somewhere on windward side (bellows, near hawaii kai, or hickam in back) or calm waves on windward side near hale iwa, or waianae. man i miss the island. i want to go back!:D

Nope. Nothing. And I hate making the 70-80 mile drive to Tucson just to see some type of civilization. I guess an early pioneer was too stubborn to follow the rest of everybody else that decided to stick to the highway and settle in Tucson.

Mines looked just as bad.... Are Oahu roads really that bad? Haven't been there in a while. At least here you could get somewhere with no problem.

There's traffic in Hawaii? Wow.

Dude, when I was stationed on Schofiled (Oahu), you did not want to be anywhere near the H-2 and H-1 merge during 1530-1800. I'm telling you, it was no joke as far as traffic is concerned. :barf:
