I was thinking of putting two 10"s and my 1200 watt amp on a deck that went where the back seats were. I took them out and now im trying to visualize a good way to do it.

If anyones done this .. between a 1g or 2g just show me some pics please!!

Thanks!!

Luke :dsm:

Also if you just took them out and carpeted the floor id like to see that too ..

Basically what options i have with the back after the seats are out! thanks again!

Hahaha wow!

I wanted to mention .. i did do a search on the enclosures in the back before i posted .. im really kinda looking either updated enclosures .. or people who have carpeted the floor or made some other interesting peice for the back cabin.

Show me some pics people!!

do a sub box that is molded to the door panels.. one behind each seat at a diagnal ( basically towards the seat opposed to the side its on...) and put your amp inbetween... and then get a nitrous bottle and set it up for a perge valve or 2... if you like your show... haha just an idea =)

I wish there were more replies/Images here. I've been considering doing this myself, but have been looking for idea's with no avail.

That would look dumb without a back seat.

Yeah, I can see how it would be so much worse that the other things suggested in this thread.

good day trunk space

Yeah no shit, maybe next you can tell me that the moon comes out at night. Did you seriously think people were so dumb that they need you to tell them that putting this in their hatch takes up the hatch space?

:tease: AHAHAHA a feisty one starting up another flame fest over absolutely nothing. It was a joke, you could develop half a sense of humor instead of being a complete douche about shit.

im actually working on one right now. took my back seats out and making a fiberglass enclosure. it's quite the undertaking...and im in between moving so haven't worked on it much...but hope to get it goin again shortly.

It all depends on what you use the car for. If for drag, do nothing to keep weight down. If for show, then a nice sub enclosure would be the preferred route.

I'd go with the sheet metal look lepo suggested. Looks clean and simple. Go with that many or with a nos setup.

I would just leave it how it is, with the empty space. Less weight, and more cargo space when needed! :)

I've been rocking rocking the stripped look in my 1g for years and it does grow on you( a little more noisy though). Whenever I get the amps I want then the custom amp rack gets built...thinking of making something like a CRX has, that way I have clean storage and a place for some amps that is out of sight.

thats what I'm doing with mine, since the last round of pictures I've mostly finished the carpet, I'll get some more pictures up tomorrow, but I'm mounting a RF p3d410 in the center section, powered by a r500-1 amp, the box itself could easily be designed to accommodate more woofer if you don't want the storage holds. I can get you the measurements and a kind of how-to if you're interested. the whole process wasn't very difficult, just time consuming.
