The pot luck theme worked out well last time. Let's do it again. BBQ, chips, sodas, salads, meats, breads, etc are welcome.

Info: We will be meeting at the shop, BOSS Innovations, at 9am (Don't be late), and will cruise thru La Grande, ending in Morton, where we will BBQ and eat at Backstrom Park. I will be renting the overhead, so please respect the property, and respect my efforts in doing so.

Backstrom park is also a campground, and I will be camping out with a couple others from the group, so anyone else interested in staying and camping out with us is more than welcome. There is a $10 fee per tent.

Fire start up will be at about 9pm, and we shall hang out til it's time for lights out.

Note: If you're wanting to play in the water (there's a nice swim pool, river, at the park), bring your swim gear. Fishing is also permitted with the appropriate fishing license in the river, and the fish are biting (5 catch maximum).

Important: The cruise up to Morton is not a race, and everyone's safety is of the most importance ... so don't drive stupid; do that on your own coming back ... if you must.

Again, please try and not be late ... be early if need be.

Hey David, I might make it there. My car should be going down to English for some items and I may be at the Dyno Day at Drift office to do a tune. Not 100% on either yet. I will keep you posted bro!

I'm definately going to try and make it up there. I wasnt able to make it out to the last meet because my car was in the shop But I should be at this one

ah man! i am going to be camping at mt rainier national park that exact weekend! Im going to see if i can change my plans to that park for the weekend! if not, maybe ill take the 2g to the nat park and make the trip back to morton for saturday! seeing as how its on the way. Hey ricky, is your car going to be up and running for this meet? how many people plan on camping out for the night? if i can change my plans ill be out there fri and sat night.

Um, if everything goes as planned; which it never does, yes it should be moving and driving. I was waiting on axles and suspension parts but they arrived this week.

Depending on how long you guys are gonna BBQ and hang out. I might go but I have to work till noon so I'd probably make at around 3pm.

This Saturday at 9am guys, meeting at the shop, then heading out. Wheather says it should be sunny with rain coming in on Sunday afternoon.

If anything changes, it will be updated in this thread.

Fiexed some small oil leaks today, fixing some boost leaks friday, and ordered up a NGR Type-S but they didnt ship it out on time. I was hoping to sport that on Saturday. Oh well. Ill be there at 9 =)

Tacoma is too far. sorry. Seattle is a good city...

Too bad only a few of us showed up. Didnt even get to do the cruise to Morton. Come on guys if we want to be doing the meets then we need to actually go to them

Ya, but if anyone wants to still cruise out there I'm down. Ill be chilling at the shop for a while and camp out in Morton.

Thanks guys for showing up, it was a blast hanging out with you.

I also wanted to thank the others that showed up as well. Lots of good food cooked up, and much missed by many. Our list for attendance looked decent, but a lot of those were no shows.

I'd like to continue to try and throw things together, but I really need your support in attending if you're saying that you are. I know things come up, and that's understandable. I think in the future we will have a status request so we can have a better head count. I know there were a few people disappointed that we changed the cruise to Morton, and went to the dyno day at Drift Office instead. Sorry about that guys.

The Drift Office dyno day event was also lacking attendance as well so it must have just been the weekend. The wheathers changing, and we will try and have one more event posted in September, before Fall sets in. I hope to see you guys out there.

Yea is sucked we didn't do the cruise but goung to check out the dyno days was cool. It was the first time hanging out with other dsm guys or even being to a dyno place watching how everything goes. Hope to get together with everyone for sure more often. Next time I might have some work done to my car

So david I wasnt there had a few jobs come up that I had to finsih maybe at the next one.

that explains why i didnt see you guys on sat. I had already made plans to camp out at mt rainieer that weekend but my cousin brought his 1st gen so we could roll out to morton but nothing ever popped up. I really like the camp out idea in morton though. the drive is really cool down hwy7. Maybe we can set the time for this next meet up now so i can have some time to make sure there are no other plans. thats what hurt me for this one, not really too much time in advance to plan for it.
