DSM Shootout 2010 pictures by 1timehondalover - Photobucket
Stole this link from a guy on dsmtalk. either way there are a lot of vids and pics
We hit up best western, and while Paul was giving a ride to a chick his car overheated and blew all the coolant out. I think someone half opened the radiator cap when it was at buschurs earlier. After refilling it and cleaning off the coolant all was well again.

Okay. Someone tell me how this happened.
Sorry, i was trying to brake out that whole day. I lost the next round and i was only .009 off my dial in, but was to focused on the launch so had a bad r/t. It was hard to not laugh when you erased the window marker on your car to put something like "evo killer" or "evo eliminator"
Okay. Someone tell me how this happened.
That storm was CRAZY for all of 10 minutes that it lasted. We were watching it via Dopler in Adam's truck before it hit. The ambient temperature dropped from 92* to 68* in less than 90 seconds. That was some of the heaviest rainfall I've ever been in. Fortunately the hail was small enough to not cause any damage to my car or his truck. As for the storm, I left the track a bit early due to working early this morning, but about half an hour after I got on 80/90, I hit the most intense hail/rain storm I've ever driven through. People ahead of me pulled over underneath overpasses, or simply put their hazard lights on and drove 20mph. Visibility through the rain was about 20 feet, and the sound of hail hitting my truck made me think I wasn't going to get through it without a cracked windshield. Luckily, it only lasted about 20 minutes, then it cleared right up. Freak weather, but made it a very interesting drive.

Anyone who stopped by the MM room and partied with us is cool in my book. What an awesome time.
The Texan and I went back to the Best Western after we left the track (stayed there Sunday night too). We saw that a storm was coming in so I jumped in the shower to get cooled off and clean to go eat and no more than ten minutes later the parking lot where Dave had his trailer parked the day before had 6" of water in it.That was some of the heaviest rainfall I've ever been in.
it was nice meeting some of you.
