$25 Wal-Mart Specials. I am going to use an OEM switch for them too. Right now I use the one provided. Momentary push button with indicator lights. But I want to put that module into the OEM switch XD

I run the stock one's on mine.

Definitely ditch those Wal-mart specials.

Not all Walmart specials are created equal; see post #19 ;)

Wes... now that I look at it some more, I think your issue is the shape. All of your pics have rectangular shaped fogs, which aren't working with your front end. I would stick with some small/mid round ones; I think they would look much better.

As for performance, not sure what to tell you. As I mentioned before, my tiny little halogen lamps are almost too bright.

So for fog light replacements I went with a small set of PIAA fog lights.

You can see them in the pic below:

They do a good job to splash light on the road, which I am looking forward to come snow season.

Oh, and for those wondering, I have switched out the projector headlights since the photo was taken.

Hey guys,

I have the stock fog lights for my 1g Eclipse. Finally clipped them in yesterday and they weren't working. I'm soaking them in Liquid Wrench at the moment, but I'm going to see if the bulbs look blown or not. Do you guys know of any wiring issues with the OEM fogs? As in say, is it common for the wiring to come apart from the fog light button on the dash or something else?

Make shure you just dont have a blown fuse. As for the bulbs in the foglight housing its self. The bulds can be changed without removing them off the car. They are H3 bulbs 35 watts each.
Just pull the rubber boot off the back and there is a skinny metal bar you need to slide over and the buld comes right out. But you dont need to remove the buld to test it out. Just get a car charger and hook the wires to the wire clip on the light.
The switches in the 1g DSM's do go bad and I wouldnt doubt that yours is bad or you have a blown fuse or relay.

I've thought of putting some fogs in the outer hole/vents on my 2Gb Talon bumper since I get a lot of fog where I live. However, it would then get in the way of my oil cooler.
