Car looks like a Evo mixed with a turtle, most un-impressive times I've ever seen for a car making that much HP.. Never have liked the Evo X, its a disgrace to even call it a Evo.

Based on a single 10.8 video? I hope not. No offense, but I don't put much stock into blanket statements such as that.

Anyways, did the track look wet, or is it just my eyes?

car is slow 816 hp and only 10.8 ...how much do these pigs weigh
I'd blame the driver more than anything else. Bogged the shit out of 2nd on the first pass, almost drove into the other lane on the second pass when the car didn't bog in second gear....140mph trap speeds are good for low 10's with a worthy driver.

let me guess... ### it doesn't have a 4g63. Seems like anything thats different or new on this site just gets flamed

ive seen worse. a guy here has a 03 cobra and does 11.5 with close to 700hp...

The new evos are very responsive to mods, Intakes, Exhaust, Tunes and Hard IC piping add gobs of power!

My buddy had a 2010. With just an exhaust it ran 13.2. Couldn't get the launch right, it was his first time Either bogged or spun. One thing I noticed with that car is it has a very weak clutch.

I would have traded my car and 15k towards it in a heartbeat, it was such a nice car. I can't believe he sold it to get a Spyder GST...

My car would walk this thing any day, I mean bad I could easily put 10-12 cars on him untuned.
but it would run circles around my car in handling and stopping. It is unbelievable how well they handle going 130+ seems like you are going 65 mph. My car I take it to 130 and I feel like I am going to die LOL.

Heres some pics of it with my car. It looks like a giant

3500lbs

Judging by the way the car sounded, all the smoking and puffing coming out of the exhuast and "slower" elapsed times, I would think this was a very generous dyno. That thing was breaking up all down the track. And just puking smoke out of the exhuast. It is on its way, but I don't see any record breaking happening just yet.

Listen to the AMS car, much smoother and crisper. Not a big AMS fan here, but the car seems to do it a little better according to those two videos. AMS rocks, but I build my own turds. No shop can really impress me any more. We just do our own thing now.

It's a mustang dyno which typically yields lower results. If you guys read the thread on evoM they were have problems all night with launching, and traction, and ended up blowing off an intercooler pipe. Yes 10.8 isn't very impressive, but on dot radials with 800hp, I would like to see you try to cut a good 60ft. I'm not a fan of the EvoX's, they are pigs, but the 4B11 so far has proven to be a good contender to replace the 4G63. It was 20 years old, and needed a re-design, and Mitsubishi so far has hit the nail right on the head.

This car caught a lot of flack locally. No one agreed with the high numbers car put out. The night before the track runs they turned up the boost and it made 880whp on the FBI dyno. They tried to confirm the numbers by driving to Titan to use their dyno jet. It made like 660 there but boost was low (supposedly 24psi) and car developed a misfire.

It aslo had a second track outing after this video with different driver who couldnt get car into tens.

It is the fastest EVO X currently so you got to give them credit for that. Its going to track this weekend on motorcycle slcks. They are shooting for nines. I think it may do it depending on driver skills.. we'll see..

Now if only Mitsu would take the 4B11 and put it in a coupe *cough* Eclipse *Cough*

Yep exactly.
Ive never liked the entire evo line(mostly because of the 4 doors). They all look like shit to me. A 2 door evo might be pretty sick looking. Ill stick with my clean 1g, or the "murdered out" 2g im working on :)

Looks to me like there is some more power to be found in that tune. It's probably running pig rich with all that black smoke and breaking up going on up top. I think that thing will haul once it's all dialed in.

I Personally know the guys who built and tuned this car, there dyno reads higher then normal so its not making good times because it really would only be making mid to low 700's. which is plenty for a single digget pass. Its best pass to date is a 10.51 , car is on about 42psi. They are all about big numbers not efficiency. They have an evo 8 that has around 650whp from there dyno an got beat by a stock zo6 from a roll. damn right there's somethings wrong.
Either way they still pulled it off and they should be congraduated. conrats rob an dave at FBI

I have yet to see the 4B11 prove its self as good as the 4g63, I would just stick with the engine that has proven itself over the years. I think the new evo looks ugly but still better looking than the impreza.

ETS went 9.9@142 boy's.......I guess it's the fastest and quickest Evo X for now.....

Just because it got a 12hp increase by a filter upgrade dousnt mean it has proven its self. How it performs over the years and how well it lasts proves it. Also how durable it is in rally raceing will prove it because most engines are not built to handle that abuse (yeah its a built engine but its still a 4b11) the 4g63 is gonna be hard to beat.
