This thread hasnt been closed, because apparantly it's OK for newbies to break the rules, because they're new, and we should give them a break. Being new, we can't possibly expect them to read, understand, and follow the same set of rules that everybody else does. We need to wait a while to allow them to become seasoned before the rules apply to them.

Also, this thread isn't a complaint about Moderation. It's merely a thread to express discontentment and disapproval for the actions and duties of the Moderation staff here. Completely contrary to a complaint, right?

I like the way this site is ran, A LOT. Yeah, I think occasionally threads get closed when they dont really need to be closed but everything is easy to navigate through.

My only really big complaint is that this site has been running like a third generation ford taurus. Its really frustrating when I need to hop on for a quick answer to something and.....

I will say however, the mods at talk are rough I know, but I've had knock-down dragouts with them before, and still didn't get a warning. They just want you to follow the rules, and 99% of the time when you do something wrong, if you don't do it again they will leave you alone. How hard is it to use your shift-key, or to not try to make posts outside the classifieds? That's 99% of the whippings they hand out right there.

However, I won't name names, but I'll say there is two of them that are straight ridiculous, that I've had problems with. Both of which give Talk a bad name..

We call those Modergators.

These moderators aren't nearly as bad as my local forums. Nothing personal, but Defiant if you come back Im out. I wanted to personally spew my brains all over my walls because of you sometimes.
