The title pretty much says it.
I just installed a 2600, seems like I torqued everything down. for some reason my dad began to take the bellhousing away from the transaxle, but I got it put back together and torqued. There was a bit of residual oil in the area, but it never dripped. The transfer case does however seem to be leaking some. I'm not sure if it's engine oil or from the transfer case though. Engine oil is still full and fresh.I'd like to solve the problem ASAP. Is there anything common that happens, or what should I check?

very vauge information buddy what you have to do is clean the leak and track down where it is coming from and then if you cant figure it out come back here. at lease get what kind of fluid it is engine oil or gear oil.

Are you sure the oil you found isn't residual oil from doing the clutch? When you pull the CV shafts out of the transmission to change the clutch, they leak oil, you could be finding leftovers.

The transfer cases on 1g's are known for leaking. You may want to check it out and get all new seals for it if you've never done it and never had the recall performed on it. I've got all the part numbers if youd like them for the parts that is supposed to be done durring the recall.
