Sorry it's been some time since I've posted. I was refering to the same turbo set-up but with a garrett hot side. I'm in love with this turbo and everything still seems to run great. I was at first worried about the turbo not spooling up fast enough for me but that's not an issue. I hope to take it to the track this summer and get times!
 
I was told to go with Motul by a local DSM'r. I wasn't able to get any so I used a Mobile 1 (I think) 10w30.... not impressed... My oil pressure is a little high under boost so I'm going to try something different. Any input would be good. This is something I've been constantly thinking about.
 
I think he ment your feed source. I love that power for the bolton housing. I recently purchased sbr_joes s256 with the 362 turbine. Hope I see.ass good numbers, maybe quicker spool with my kelford 264s. Ill do my own review later this summer. Again nice numbers.

Depite the two-year bump this is worth quoting. ROFL

I had similar results with my S256 but without the dropoff in peak power. As soon as the transmission is done it's back to the track to see how it does. Baby borg love. :thumb:

Those damn turbo's are over rated. Who really use's them anymore? ;);)
 
I think the *wink* *wink* at the end there disqualified the statement as being serious. If not it truly is a dumb comment and doesn't really deserve much response as the poster is obviously uninformed (I don't think this is the case).

That being said, I may be trying a T3 bat-mo-wheel S259 as soon as I get solid track numbers for this 256. :)

I recently made 662 AWHP on a S366 @ 33 psi on a dynojet. I just put another head gasket and a1 headstuds in my car so I can safely run more boost. I'm hoping for 750 AWHP +, with more boost and and a agressive tune. I guess I could be considered uninformed, LOL. I hear something new everyday.

you shouldn't be losing that kind of power up top. These turbos don't choke out. I did a similar setup on an EVO and hit 502whp/503wtq and it was SOLID!

was this a twin scroll housing or just regular housing?
