I know this technially shouldn't go here, but I don't see a subforum for the 2.4L cars.....
Anyways, I recently picked up an eclipse spyder for a few hundred bucks. I was going to use it for parts, but the more I look at it, the more I want to save it? It's very clean.. no strut tower rust and such. HOWEVER, the auto trans is stuck in "limp mode". I don't deal with automatics much, so I'm curious if this could be caused my something electrical, such as the TCU? Maybe a faulty speed sensor? I read somewhere that the transmission is a F4A22. Is this true? .. man stick shift cars are so much simpler!
Any advise would be great! I'm going to see if I can pull some codes form it. Maybe I'll get lucky and it'll be something stupid.
