time belt could have jumped timing or broke.

Car got out of time (as posted above), and the pistons hit the valves.

If you have bent valves you could have bent others that look to be straight. I would just replace all valves or have a machine shop check them out. You are most likely going to have to replace some valve guides as well. I would take it to a machine shop and see what they recommend replacing.

The machine shop would take out the valves and put them in a drill chuck to spin them and look for bentness/wobble. As for the guides, look for cracks around the bottom of the guides with the valves out, and see if the un-bent valves fit snugly in the guides without any binding or looseness.

if you have bent valves your best bet is to pull the head and take it to your local machine shop most local shops only charge around 200 bucks to tank the head and replace the valve seals it should not be to much more to just replace a few valves and guides
