I don't have a 1/4 mile track where I live, but we have a 1/8 mile track and I ran a 7.18@101mph. Would this be considered a 13 sec car, or 12 sec car/? Or is too hard to tell?

That's movin!

Lol @ thinking thats a 13 sec ride. A mid 13s car is usually 8.5ish in the 1/8th.

That's low 11s with traps in the 120s.

Yeah definitely an 11 second car. I ran 12.4 and trapped 87mph in the 1/8th. You may even have that thing in the 10's

As was stated above with than MPH in the 1/8th you should be in the 10.90-11.10 range in the 1/4. Congrats. :hellyeah:

Very nice!!! I only have a 1/8 mile close also and my best was a 8.2. Are all your mods up to date in your profile?
Congrats.

Yes running 101 in the 1/8 mile, and asking if your car is running 12 or 13s is a ridiculous question! hehe :) Good run man, get yourself a little track clock and find a Tennessee straight away and measure it using your tripometer, and just do an unofficial 1/4 time and let us know. :)

Yowzers you were moving. In the quarter my old setup ran 12.8s at 107mph and that was with running 8.2 at 84mph in the 1/8th.

Wow, I didn't think it was that fast. My mods. list is not up to date. I've been upgrading so fast I have not been able to keep up, too much time turning wrench (LOL). My cam seals are leaking so I will use this opportunity to rebuild. Weisco .20 over pistons, Eagle rods, ACL race bearings, Magnus street intake, fuel rail, 280 cams and so forth.-----------Also thinking about a 50-shot of nitrous. Anyone else running nitrous?

Wallace Racing - 1/8th Stats to 1/4 Stats Calculator

On your above stats this site estimated you to run a 11.25 @125mph. That is nice. Of course, this is an estimate. True numbers will be effected by gearing, powerband, weight, etc... Your short times should be great bc of AWD. It is how that power translates in your upper power range that will dictate actual times. But, you should be around a mid 11 for sure.

Where did you run at? I take my Mustang up to Union Hill. The closest 1/4 is going to be Crossville or Beech Bend in Bowling Green.

I went to the Hill about 2 months ago, some white 95ish' camaro ate my lunch. But I still felt good about my times I laid down. 7.18 being the best I ran. I saw a lot of mustangs up there. It was on a Tuesday night when I went. I think it was like 'street legal and Ford night or something.

I need drag radials. I have yet to run a 1/4 mile but my times and trap speeds do not match. With my 60ft I should run a 15.6 1/4, with my et it says 14.4 but my trap speed I should run mid 13s. I am losing alot of the line since I cannot hook. Once I get some drag radials we will see. I am not going to run the Eclipse for some time.

You checked in to L.S.D yet? More expensive than drag radials but well worth it if you are gonna keep it.

You have almost 5mph on my 1/8 mile trap and almost .1 on my 1/8th ET, definitely moving.

Low 11's if not 10's with a good tire. That calculator was a bit conservative for my 1/4 mile time and mph

I have a Cobra Spec LSD. I am stepping up to a Detroit True Trac Helical Gear LSD when I have my hands in my rear-end again to upgrade from my 3.55s and 28 Spline FRPP axles to 3.73s and 31 Spline Alloy USAs. For my Eclipse, what would be a good LSD for that? It is FWD and I plan on only about 300hp since it is FWD.

Next time you head up to Music City Raceway/Union Hill or head to any other track, let me know. May make a trek out to run with you and see that quick Talon.

Well it won't be this season. My trans is on it's way to Shep Trans and I'm about to take my motor to Athens for complete build / bore. Last runs were strictly test runs to see where I stood now, before new build. I'm driving a '98 a3000gt non turbo for now. But not sure about lsd's for these cars. I've felt the difference in a friends car, but thats about it, don't know what kind he had. I've always had the a.w.d., so I never looked in to it much. Good luck with the Stang though.
