Np, I should put his post under the Dumbest things You ever heard a DSM'er say Forum.. LOLooo

Do it:D Op Im glad shes running good! I think the negative numbers on the MAP are normal I do believe mine run there to but I havent paid a lot of attention to that. There are some things on the logger that the computer of the car doesnt read. Like was already said good that you got a logger imo that should be one of the first things you sould get for these cars. For the money the amount of info. you get from it is unbeatable.

awsome thx for the info! :)

as for the plugs i always forget witch ones LOL, i'll stand at the sales counter looking it up here on my phone. LOL

now i did have the MBC turned about 2.5 turns up for about 2 months and it ran great. it just started the missfire at 5k any idea's what may have been causing this, maybe a future problem tthat i don't know about yet?

still learning the logger but it is nice to have the data on it:)

thx for the replies guy's!!!

Most likely boost leak. Remember it probably hasn't seen over 10psi for years. Now your forcing 14-15psi through it and expanding all the hoses and stretching them out past what was considered normal. I'd start there.
Perhaps your getting MAF over-run but I highly doubt it at 14-15psi.
This is were a fuel pump re-wire will help. While your in there - soak, drown, and infest those fuel pump lines and bolts with PB blaster or liquid wrench. I mean take a good solid week to douse those shits cause it absolutely sucks when they break.
There is a column in your log - INJPW aka Injector pulse width. Useless really. Instead log Injector Ducty Cycle, or IDC%. If your in the high 90s... turn the boost down as injectors don't last very long at that rate. There is a un-named parameter in your first log next to INJPW...that might be IDCs.

You've got a great aggressive timing curve at stock boost for 91 octane. 91 octane doesn't help much for turning up the boost.:(

With that being said I have informative links to get you more familiar with things. I don't normally spoon feed people but since you show your willing to learn here ya go.

Good source for MMcD(favorite). Tons of information - some you probably won't need.

Enjoy.

Viperz586, thx a bunch, much appreciated!!

i do think that the un-named parameter is IDC why it is unmarked idk but will fix, nice to know she still doing good for being 20 years old with 110k on her, LOL:)

thx a bunch guy's!!!

You have a 1g o2-f means nothing log o2-r, also log low medium and high fuel trims. just a thought might help others.

I think your logger is set up fine. you shouldn't be eating up plugs @ 2k miles. 91oct. Should be fine. You might want to rewire your fuel pump. Also check timeing and for boost leaks.

+1 one the boost leaks. I had the same issue where I would have a boost leak and ramdomly have high knock count after 5k

Check for boost leaks. Make sure your basetiminig is set
log on stock boost. I would highly recomend a wbo2

No you don't want to log ANY trims when you're doing WOT pulls, as it's a waste of precious logging bandwidth.

intresting thats what I was told considering mine are all f'd what do I know. my ltft's are at 81.2 and the others glued at 100 figurethat out.

no highjacking intended

no werries on high jacking it, it all about info :)

Boost leak ideas were spot on i had 4 big ones, hot side boost tube and upper boost tube. She run's so much better now, smoother full throttle, i had turned my boost back up till i got knock then backed it back down till it was gone.

no tuning system, she is all stock besides a MBC and ngk wires, o and an air hog air filter LOL.

Thx guy's!
