No record, but I'm happy as hell with it.

Slicks only night at GLD and kp116 was nice enough to let me use his QTPs. Worried about breaking my stock 3 bolt rear end or 2 spider center diff but couldn't pass up the opportunity :)
Held up to a 1.5 60'!!

4500 stutterbox
tire pressure was about 20 psi or more(set to cruise on)
23psi falling to 21 in the logs earlier in the day according to the 3 bar map sensor.
3000lbs or so with me in it since it was less than an 1/8 tank.

Tuned on Jackal. Picked up about 4mph compared to safc and a sidemount last year.

CONGRATULATIONS MATT!!!!

That is a freaking awesome time on the Big 16G! I am sure that my reaction to seeing the timeslip would have been the same!

I am really happy that the transmission worked out for you and that the 1/4 mile pass went smoothly!

Excellent 60' also for stock rear-end/axles on a 2-spider center diff! Especially for the high tire pressures and with wheelspin!

I cannot wait to see what more there is to eek out of the current setup!

Thank you Tim!! It means a lot coming from you :)

I can't thank you enough for the transmission and walking me through the rebuild process. Been working great so far, as you can see the 1-2 is THERE compared to last year.

I'm thinking it's more of a last hurrah for the 16g. Gathering materials to throw the hx35 on that's sitting in my garage. It is a bit tempting to lower the tire pressure, up the boost and raise the launch rpm for that magical time but I feel like I'm already pushing my luck now. Or maybe try the 14b again...?

nice run !! just wondering about your dyno with the 14b in your profile, what other mods did you have to make that 312/320 ? im just curiouse because i just rebuilt my engine with alot going on inside the motor ( parts in profile ) , and i re-used the 14b and i have it somewere around 20psi....the car pulls really hard ,i have not gotten on a dyno yet though...but im just trying to get an idea of were i might be, power wise.....

14b dyno run was just stock freshened up 6 bolt, same as it is now. Mods were similar then besides tuning with an SAFC and a sidemount intercooler. The major contributor was, and still is, e85.

I wouldnt push your luck with the 3 bolt I broke mine on street tires at the track. Your very lucky it held together. one mistake on the launch and your day is done. Congrats on the pass though nice work!

COngrats, that is badass.

Go back with more boost, there is so much left for power.

Well put together car.

Congrats again Matt! Too bad I wasn't going auto soon then we could put my 4 bolt in there and see what it can do! Just thinking that your car as it sits could possibly dip into the 10's is just retarded to think about. Your car is the ultimate budget build, street and strip car. Haha I remember a few years ago you were just hoping for 12's with the 16g! Amazing time yesterday, your car never fails to impress me!

Wisconsin crew is shooting for record in 2010! Now we need to get kp116 to the track soon Matt!

Just got my wastegate spring today so hopefully that fixes the issue and maybe track on sunday if it doesn't rain! :hellyeah:

Thanks everyone! :D

Sorry for swearing in front of your kids, Matt :coy:

The idea of hitting 10's is almost too tempting not to try.... The only thing I don't have sitting in my garage is a spare center diff.

Nice man, that is bad ass!!! If I ever make a clean pass down the track without any problems, I might think about getting slicks!
