Hey everyone I need help on what I should get. I am replacing my clutch since it was bad and I was more then likely just replace it with an oem clutch until i am ready to replace it when i completely pull everything out this winter. So basically I have 2 grand to spend and after the clutch and flywheel which is about the 300 dollar range i suppose that will leave me with anywhere from 15-1700 left over.

Now I am wanting to run E85 so should I do fuel upgrades now? if so what do you more expierenced dsmer's recommend as far as upgrades?

Or should I get a FMIC (ETS), trubo mani (proly 2g), CAI, and a DSMlink, IDK

Or what would you do with a 91 TSI AWD with an extra 15-1700 to spend?

Thanks Seth

After Maintenece, I would do these:...

But that leaves no room for error or for maintenece, or room after you mod & break parts. IF you want a reliable DD that is.

I would really like to emphasize that you should complete all MAINTENANCE with those funds before you start significant mods. From experience, small things are always coming up or breaking and its nice to have some spare cash. :thumb:

Besides that, keep looking into those upgrade paths and plan well. Good luck!

My opinion is :
-Get a DSM Link
-FP mani and HX-35 turbo
-HKS, or FP2 cams
-buy a better clutch/like ACt 21-2600/, no need to buy another one again
-if you have cash left, get a BOSCH 044 and mount it in tank and call it a day

Yeah , I went a little overboard, but my point is: Spend wisely....
Even if you are stock now, you mentioned , that you changing things over winter. So try to buy the stuff you need just once. No need to buy clutch and then resell it after, same goes for fuel pump and turbo. Buy quality stuff, not E-bay and China made crap.. Otherwise your car will never be good.
Do it right, do it the first time..

But first, buy a something, that you can tune with and GO from there.

before all that upgrading begins i would recomend a shepperd tranny, this cars have such bad trannys the need to be built right or elese your gona be broken down alot.
