Looks good, I couldn't get rid of my back seat tho. but I am ditching that hump in the trunk. and I'm gonna make my own sheet metal floor that is completely flat so I can use 1G FWD Carpet. I hate that hump.

You will have to get rid of your gas tank in order to get rid of the hump, the gas tank goes up inside that hump..

snaps thats sick, imma try this on my brothers track car, how heavy is the carpet, maybe i should just use cheap lightweight cloth?

Looks really good, you wanna do mine now?

Sure bring it on down, im still laid off and have plenty of time on my hands LOL

Ive been looking for something clean to do to my rear. I like that. Out of curiosity where did you get that carpeting from, and does it come in black?

I got it from an auto interior shop here in Wichita ks, cant remember the name of it now, but i just did a google search and started calling different places to see who i could order from. It does come in black and many different colors.

I'm super impressed. I really like how you cleaned up the edges with the reinforced vinyl crimp. Nice job and good usage of time.

That looks super nice. I have had an idea for a while now to do something like that but keep the back seat backs or fab something to hold a sub box in there so you have a cargo area. I am not sure yet what my idea will be but something to delete the back seats but keep the cargo area with a "front wall" so crap doesnt come sliding all the way to the front.

I thought about deleting the seats for some type of audio too. I figured losing the seats and adding the speakers would be a nice trade of weight.

I think it turned out really good. Looks very clean. I have a 90 and i have thought about doing that and you just helped with some ideas so thanks.

Looks great, I was planning something like this, so it's good to see some different ideas.

How did you go about measuring and making the back seat cover template? I've tried some things in the past, but they are always a pain to do, and never turn out as good as I'd like.

That looks amazing. Keep us posted about the durability of your adhesive. I'd have probably gone and done something drastic right off the bat, which may or may not have involved a rivet gun.

Looks like I will have to find a different adhesive, its starting to let go now.

Thanks for everyone’s positive replies about the interior.

To make the panel for the rear seat cover I started with cardboard, transferred that to the aluminum and from there used air shears and a belt sander to trim the panel to match the contour of the paneling as close as possible leaving a .25 +or- .10 gap, I bet I had that panel in and out of that car well over 50 times. Oh and that goes for all the other panels as well.

Looks great, not too many people can do that good of a job on interior pieces, well done!!!

Kinda brinigng this thread back from the dead, but the pics are no longer working and I'm trying to get some ideas for mine still ... can someone post them or the original poster repost the pics? Thanks.
