I currently have a 14b on my car.
But I want to upgrade to the 16g.
What should I do while tearing up my car maintenance wise?
I have in mind replacing, timing belt with the timing belt kit, water pump, thermostat, and coolant hoses.
Anything else I should pay attention to or replace?

since your already that far into it you should try and pick up a used echaust manifold to put on as well would help the 16g breathe better

I didn't say I was scared to use my 2g manifold.
All I asked was what else should I do to my car with maintenance?
Its got about 72,3XX miles on it.

Thats going to depend a turbo added fine, but what esle hasnt been done, could you make your question a bit more clear. That could mean brakes rotors, fuel, gaskets, many of things.

I mean like when I up the boost nothing will fail.
I have the cometic HG and arp studs.

too much boost something will fail, do you have a way to tune? That would be your best device to save your engine, no matter how much boost you have or mods to your car, without knowing how monitor whats happening, upgrades can be a cause for disaster.

No tune yet. But I got the flashed ecu from jeffo. I don't know much about it. All I know is that I got it for the Rev limiter launch control. Haha.

injectors? you have a tuned ecu injectors and wideband you should be good to go. i to am running one of jeffs tuned ecu with 560cc injectors on a evo 16g havent blown my hg so far. i have arps and stock gasket with 99k ###### wont be long

Yes, I'm about to run the same set up as you.
I got the evo 560 cc
I have all supporting mods already.
I just want to know what else should I check while doing this.

I say change to some SS exhaust studs while your at it with some new gaskets. Never hurts until you snap an old stud.
