Ordered mine about a month and a half ago. Just got an email saying their mold broke. So I was refunded my money. Thought I would share with all of the 2gb Eclipse's out there that want one.... (if you have one and wanna get rid of it, PM me ).

Yeah I know they have them for sale on ebay, But I dont feel like paying around 300$ for a lip.... I payed around 200$ for the RMDSM one...

I thought they were going to fix the mold...? That sucks if they aren't available anymore. I sure hope I never destroy mine.

Yeah, they said the Mold would be fixed. But they have to order a whole new one, which would take weeks.

What does the RM stand for?

I hope they become available again. I wanna buy one as a spare. Ive cracked mine before, then fixed it. It just got a little crack in it again last night but nothing major and nothing I cant fix. But I love the look of it too much to not have one .

Me too, I wanted a spare as well. I defintely think someone should pick this up...maybe one of the other companies that make it in carbon fiber can make it in ABS just like RM did?

Carbon Creations makes a carbon fiber one. If anyone gets the carbon fiber one that already has an ABS plastic one, Ill be glad to take your ABS off your hands. I need a spare!

Theres a guy that's always posting in the class ads that has them. Like every day which I'm tired of seeing.

Yea theyre replicated in carbon fiber by a few people. I just cant justify twice the price of the ABS one just to have it crack twice as fast, and have it not be repairable.

^^^ Right. $175 shipped VS. $345 shipped. That's a steep price difference to a guy who is more than happy with the cheaper one.


Also, what's up with the eBay guys wanting $120 for shipping when MachV ships them for like $25?

Aw man you guys are lucky! I've been looking at my car lately and it looks really naked being dropped and all. I need a lip and only dig the rm lip.
Lucky because all or what I know is the vendors are all in my state and tax here is a pain in the butt. That's probably the only reason I don't want to buy one yet.

I had a feeling a few months back that these were gonna be discontinued, and I thought about buying another one. But I was in the middle of my build and didnt really wanna spend money on that instead of my build. Regretting that now . Oh well.

Will I got a good deal on the lip from the seller I posted up above. He said for me just to paypal him and he'll leave out the tax. Plus I can pick it up for free. The city is like 3.5 hours away from me. But driving in a honda fit to get there and back @$50. I'll pick one up when I'm headed north or have my nephew buy it and drop it off next time he's coming to town since he only lives 1 hour away from there.

How do these come like? Do they come pre drilled so we can just pop in and screw or do we have to mod this and that? Installation wise!
