What did you use to start it from? An actual hood or like a piece of cardboard?

But the hump in the hood is so pretty and unique. It really makes our cars stand out. Aside from the neons that have a slight one, ours is so beautiful. But i'm curious to see how this will turn out.

:Insert racial equivalent involving a butt: :p

I'd like to see what you have in mind for the hood. Are you doing a basic flat hood or doing some sort of cut outs in it as well for ventilation?

haha well im not a good artist so no drawings, sorry. And yes a dsm without a hump, i know they are amazing but i want to stand out a little bit.and i will keep you all posted but just be warned i work alot and dont get much time off so it might take a little while, so please be patient.

just thought i would throw this in here its a carbon fiber piece im also working on

ooh ok so should we assume its just going to be a regular hood minus the hump or are you planning on any vents like someone asked before? i love the oem hood but imo i dont think theres many clean/unique aftermarket hoods out there for dsms.. it would be cool to see a clean vented hood.

If I was to do this, it would only be for the benefits of symmetrical cut outs without the hump. I want to see how this turns out first before I venture into the project myself.

so i told you all that it would take me awhile but here is an update. First coat extreme temp fiberglass Sheetrock
