The repair kit sandwiches a steel blade inside the plastic hinges.

If your door is not opening because one hinge is broken it could help but it should feel obviously loose if a hinge has snapped.

If the door handle feels normal then maybe the actuating rod has popped off the back of the handle?

Well I'm glad I kept my broken door handle then. I shall buy a repair kit and keep it! Thanks!

I bought one of the last kits! The good thing about these is you can put them on to new unbroken handles and never have to worry bout them breaking again.

On a side note, why don't you try supplying them to extremepsi or maperformance? That way you make your money faster and it will be easier on you not having to ship to a million places?

He was asking about where to get more of my handle repair kits, not the handles.

Autozone only sells the cheap Chinese handles that break even easier than the OEM handles.

Wow, just ran into this MOD and purchased one... cant wait to get it and install it, I have went through 2 Driver and 1 passenger handle within the 2 years Ive owned my car. Got to the point were I pop the door and squeeze my finger tips in the door edge to pull it open or put finger prints on my glass!

I open the door for my girlfriend, she thinks its because Im a gentleman, but its really because I see her pull my heavy ass door open using my handle and I just expect it to snap every time!!! Im just playing... I am a gentleman (just incase any woman are reading this!)

I would have never seen it but i was browsing along the VFAQ's section and somehow came across this thread, You should maybe try posting it up somewhere on the site as a product... Im pretty sure everyone would love the peace of mind for the price... I mean we own DSM's, a 15.00 fix seems cheap considering how much money we put into our cars!

There are alot of places in az that have lasers you might not know about. I get the feeling you are in gilbert and i can tell you about a shop right down the street if its true!

I just bought a Autozone replacement handle to fix my broken drivers side.
