Ok,

First off, I would like to say thank you to all the people that have ever contributed to me over the years that I have been on here and obssesd with DSM's.

Secondly, just a little back ground, I have collected a bunch of DSM's that I no longer can stand to look at. These have been a thorn in my side and are a part of the reason that I am doing what I am doing.

As of the 10th of febuary, my divorce pappers have been filed. This hurts me tremendously and its time for a change. I have coveted these vehicles, these piles of junk, for too long and have even put them above what really mattered. But that dosent matter anymore, I just want out. I NEED to let go!

I will be putting together a brief for sale add very soon so that I can get these gone, but I have to say that I dont have the mind set or the patience to deal with shipping everything, so I am reaching out to the people that want to come to me and possibly even pull their own stuff. I hardly have the time while I have my 3 yr old daughter 3 to 5 days a week. And I will never put these vehicles before her like I did her mother and my 8yr old son.

The only thing that I will not be getting rid of, are the galants.

Again, I just need as much exposure for these as possible, and I am asking for this communities help in a dificult situation.

Just to prepare you guys that might be interested once i put up the for sale thread, I live in Morley Mi. which is 40 miles north of Grand rapids, 50 miles south of Cadillac, 45 miles west of Mount pleasant, and 12 miles south of Big Rapids.

Some advice to get things sold quickly: Pictures are a must to sell parts and get some shipping quotes from the post office or UPS or where ever you want to ship through, and when you list the parts, give a total price for that item shipped to either side of the country. This way the buyers know how much it will acutally cost them, and if it's a little cheaper shipping than you thought, there's a couple dollars difference and that would be in your pocket for making an easier experience. Also make sure you are available to receive payment through a third party like paypal, since most people are worried about being scammed as they should be cautious. Also in your ad make sure you put all of your contact info that you want people to get a hold of you to inquire about your listed items. This site's classified along iwth galantvr4.org classifies and dsmtrader.com parts section will give you your best audience for dsm parts for sale. Ebay and craigslist for most dsm parts for sale can be a time waster as the seller. A lot of people just window shopping. These are all basic things, but i try to use these as my guideline and have had decent luck doing so selling parts. Try to have your shipping estimates and total asking price quickly available or ready by the time you list each item, since every time you have to go back in forth in an email or phone call, that person is less and less likely to follow through with the sale. They just want the parts, and you just want the money so the more prepared you are the more likely the parts will get sold. Good luck and take care.

Good suggestions all around, however I dont really care about the money to say I want to make a living off these. I have already been doing that for the last 10 years and have sold thousands of dollars worth of parts off the cars. I just did it in other avenues rather than the common ones such as e-bay and craigslist.

I will be listing them on craigslist also, but I really dont know if I can stress the point of how much I do not want to touch these cars ever again. When the intrest is lost, and the weather breaks a little, the remainder of what I do not want will be going to the scrapper. And honestly, if it was a little warmer right now, I would send them all off the way they are and not even look back.

I know that I am sitting on a lot of money in parts, but my self well-being is more important to me at the moment.

Also as for the dsmtrader ad GVR4.org, I am already members on there as well and there will be post up with them also. I just need to beable to get a rough enough post put together that I can duplicate to stress my intentions.

I just want this stuff out of my life. It has caused me great heartache and sarrow that I will never recover from as long as there is a reminder. The day will come when I decide to off the 6 galants VR4's also, but just not yet.

I'm pretty sure he just said he doesn't have the time or patience to deal with shipping and is looking for locals.

Wish you were closer. I'd love to play in your mini junkyard.

No, sorry I only got into the 1G's.

Just to let everyone know, I am still working on the add that I will put up soon. If you want an idea of what will be, alot of them are pictured in my gallery even though the pictures are older.

I wonder if he has any 1g Heads I might be able to snag. >.> would be nice to have one ready for when I need to rebuild my motor. Or at the very least, swap out. :D

ill be looking forward to seeing the sales list sad to see you go though

Yeah, 6 VR4's along with a GGSX, and a couple of GS's. I cant bring my self to do anything with them becasue eventuallly I would like them for my children to drive as a "classic" when they are old enough. My son and daughter love rideing in dads loud brick. So I will just forget about them for now.

Just a little update:

Its been rough lately and I have been fighting with alot of thngs that keep me from wanting to do anything. I havent been on the computer very much because I have had my daughter so much lately, which is great. However, I havent been able to finish my list for the parts yet being so busy with her. The weather hasnt been very accomidateing either, but I will have stuff up soon. Hell the longer it takes, the more I will want the stuff gone quickly which will be good for anyone that is interested.

I have had a couple people that have already showed some intrest, and I would like to appologize to anyone that I might have missed replying to. But like I said, as soon as I can I will get everything ready so I can be done with all this quickly.

Also, to those of you that have offered some encouragement, I want you to know that I really appreciate it. Its a lot better feeling then the negativity that I have been dealing with lately in my situation.

Thanks~

Hmmmm interest still peeked! Sad to see you go. Maybe he changed his mind! Would be nice to take a drive =)

No, I havent changed my mind, I have just been so busy dealing with all the bull from my wife and trying to avoid jail because of her, it has taken so much of my time. That and I have my daughter between 4 and 5 nights a week. I just havent been able to keep on top of this.

I should soon though, cause scrap price is really good right now. I have already taken in a couple hondas and some odds and ends to start the progress.

cool thanks for the update .. patiently waiting!

Well, if I get time and there are parts available, I would love to make a trip up there to get a few pieces (if any) I would need for now or the future, including a backup turbo.

looking for a good AWD 1g that we can rebuild. and other parts. keep us updated on the list will most likely take some parts off your hands.
