We need context before we can help you, the answers will depend on what you are doing.

me and a budy are building a cheep ass high compression colt.

starting with a 93 colt coupe with a 1.6l sohc motor.

repacing the short block with a 2.4l g4cs, and using 1.6l dohc head (smaller chamber and ports compaired to a 2l head).

we still want to use the stock ecu insted of swaping the harness(that a lot of work).

and to tune this little beast, its going to have an afpr, greddy e-manage to tune the fuel, and a msd 6al box for ignition timing, and so we can get enough spark in the 12:1 comp motor.

does the sohc 16v distributor have the same dimensions as a crank angle sensor?

someone out there must have a big box of mistu parts that they can play with like lego.

yes it can be done my buddy told me about this already being done and i think he read about it on dsmtalk. sounds pretty wicked and it would delete that very very expensive hard to find powerunit for the coil pack.
