I'm still learning turbo's and from what I understand, the answer would be no.

The most it would do is leak boost @ or Past a certain PSI....for example, friend of mine his turbo wouldn't go past 11 PSI even with MBC turned all the way in which was rated for 35 PSI, Eventually he pulled his turbo off and got to looking at it, couple nice fat cracks around the waste gate housing. he slapped a new turbo on there 14B on there, and he's running a nice comfy 15 psi.

ya i fixed my boost leak....but still only 7lbs and sometimes cuts out...l cant figure it out

Any sort of boost-leak can cause fuel-cut. Fuel-cut has nothing to with a PSI level. This has been said 1,569,023 times this month.

Sorry some of us have more of a life then to sit on here and stumble accross those 1,569,023 responses..

I'm pretty sure I've tried to ask what fuel cut is many many times and no one really gives me a straight, or uniform answer.

Yeah, I have no life. If you can't find an answer to what fuel-cut is on this site, you're an absolute retard.

No need for name calling, I wasn't implying you had no life, I was stating that I don't have enough free time between work, baby on the way, school, etc. to search through the 100's of pages of threads about fuel cut that often end up being wrong, misleading, and or all theory or inaccurate...

or

everyone ask's how to fix fuel cut, not what or why.

I only can jump on here 3 times a day for about 5-10 mins a piece.

and all i have time to do is answer my thread's and or PM's

my car has the "feul cut" issue as well but, my uncle (he works for united airlines) he says it's more than likely a dirty valve cover, or possibly a loose spark plug?

Dirty Valve Cover or a loose spark plug? Seriously?

sounds to me he's just a baggage handler.

Pretty sure you need no more then a high school education IF THAT to have that job, and that goes to show it.

So that means that a dirty rim could cause wheel noise. And if you believe that, dont forget to change your boost fluid. Got to go put summer air in my tires its getting warmer out.

Don't forget about the turn signal fluid either, that has been known to cause boost leaks if it's too low!
