I found this car with a custom cold air intake. It looks sweet. The only thing on the car I like really. Any ways does anyone know how to make one like this. I like the oem style filter with the plexiglass look. Thanks

Ive seen it around as well. I think someone posted pics of it before, Its really clean but not 77k clean.
Im not a fan of trapping intakes in glass. I think cai is restrictive and I think the glass will get dirty and foggy.
Trust me, after seeing that pic the first time, I was all about trying it but then I just found it impractical.

Looks 77 grand worth of ugly. If I had a million I would buy that car and set it on fire after yanking the the engine and trans out.

I mean cmon the ricers in the movie Cars where cooler than this thing....

People judge because they are expressing their opionion. Quite frankly I think the exterior looks like complete crap and from what I saw of the interior through the glass looks bad as well. Probabally has yellow trim pieces too.

There is just way too much going on with the car to grasp it and for 77k it better be running at least 9's in the quarter then then a whole crap ton more as well. Even then I wouldn't even consider it..

I doubt it's even driven as most people should realize that underhood heat padding is to keep the heat off of the hood which will make the paint bubble.

I can appreciate all the hours of hard work that have gone into this car but I gotta say that I dont like how it looks.

As for the cold air intake, browse the tech article archives and youll see about 4 different ways to make one.

Theres totally no respect on dsmtuners.com ....:notgood:

You don't have to like another car,but U don't have to burn it to the ground as well.We all share the same passion.... :aha:

Its really clean but not 77k clean.

I like it very clean

It is a clean car but not to my liking.

Are you guys smoking drugs? If you using clean in the way most people around here use "clean" as in that it is a good looking car the paint scheme is nice, the body lines all match, the body kit flows with the orginal lines in the car etc. Then no no no no no this car is not clean at all. The car is busy as #### and your eye has no clue where to look. Crazy ass paint job (who ever designed that did not have a clue about complimentary and contrasting color design) shiny ass chrome rims, lambo doors, all the underhood bling. It makes my head want spin around till it explodes.

I have to admit that is a clean car, and a cleaner engine.

This guy seems to mean that the car is clean as in dirt free. So that means it is never driven. Except for in and out of a trailer.

im going to home depot tomorrow... pick up some plexi to see what i can do.....

lambo doors :(

Yes that is what I meant. It is shiny and bright. As in no dirt.
I think This car would be so badass if you took the body kit off, put all oem 99 GST exterior on, burn the ridiculous paint off and paint it oem red.
Then put a 99 gsx black leather interior in there.
oem 99 gst chrome rims, take the ebay headlights off and put stock ones in.
As for the engine I would leave it as is. I like the engine "bling".
It would be cool to have a car that is stock on the outside and then have a shiny "bling bling" engine under the hood.

I agree with every statement you just made:rocks:

Opinions are like butt-holes, everybody has one. I dont think it should matter if someone likes the car or not. The important thing is that the car is bringing attention to the DSM Community. Which in turn benefits us all in the long run. Personally, Im glad that someone took the time to put money into the car for the reasons I stated above.

Remeber, there is good attention and bad attention. If everyone goes and sees the DSM as a F&F car then it won't get respect by anyone other than true tuners who know what the actual vehicle is underneith the mess of fiberglass and paint.

yeah that car bring attention to the dsm community. It makes us all look like a bunch of giant dooshbag a-holes that drink NOS engergy drink and think our slow cars that look ugly as hell are the shiiiiit yo!

Seriously that paint job looks the person who picked it out was color blind. And yeah. I can't remember the last time I saw a Lambo with Lambo doors.

Its funny there are 2 or 3 lambos in my county. None of them have lambo doors. But there is a guy with a 1996 RS with a primer body kit, broken tailight, caulked in sunroof, missing interior, and lambo doors.
