Ok so the other day my car stayed out of battery and i tried to jump start it and i notice one of the battery fuse was gone, but i thought it wasnt going to do anything to take it out so i took it off and tried to jump start and when i turned the key the alternator started smoking and smell like burn, so today i got a fully charged battery and went to turn on the car and i could hear it cranking but not starting, so my friend check if it was throwing any sparks and it wasnt:hmm:, i really need help on this guys any one knows what the problem could be?

If there is no sparks, check your spark plugs/ spark plug wires. Also your coil could be gone. Those are the only two things that I can think of. Maybe your alternator is dead. A battery doesn't die for no reason.

My alternator went out in october, car would start one time, then needed a jump...Battery was completely dead, would only start with jump..And if you unhook the battery while running, if the car dies, you have an alternator isssue..

If you don't have spark and what not I would start with finding out why, by checking fuses, wires, coil, plugs..I'm not sure why the alternator was smoking, that's a new one..

Call the dealer and get a new relay...That probly should have been replace already if you knew there was a problem with it...Sorry to come off like a dick, but this is a new car to you..So you gotta be in maintenece mode first..Replacing the relay would be one of the first on my list..

Ok so i guess you got everything wrong ,1st i been already 1 year with this talon altho i dont drive it that much, and i dint bought the car at a dealer, i actually build my talon bought the shell and then i got the engine ecu and everything to get it started, the starter relay was gone i took it to a shop and they replaced it, now the car is doing the same thing it did when the relay was gone, i went to the shop and they told me to bring it up tomorrow and thats what i wanted to evade but never mind i guess its my destiny...

That tells me the coils.. Or the power transistor possibly.
Before you do anything else, turn onthe key, check for the 5 second CEL and stock boost gauge going to 0.

the power transistor doesnt look damaged or anything, and the coil i have to test them but i think the problem is coming from something deeper because it cranks and everything but it wont start, and i took of the factory dashboard :ohdamn:...
