Hey guys, since day one of owning my car my tranny has had issues. It's been rebuilt once and i'd like to avoid rebuilding it twice. Lately it's been getting worse. So, if anybody knows of one or has one on hand shoot me a pm please.

I need a 2g AWD transmission.
I would like a 97-99.

Honestly, E-bay isn't that bad of an option. I was in the market for a 2g FWD Manual Turbo trans, and bought one for $650 (shipped) and it allegedly only had 5k miles on it. It's shifting smooth, no issues after about a month of use, and $1,200 cheaper than the rebuild estimate. Note that E-bay has buyer protection for if there are issues that arise immediately after, that weren't stated in the Ad.

Yeah, I looked on ebay. Haven't been able to find a decent one...

I'm just not sure how much I trust somebody that far away with that much of my money.

I found a few in the Northwest but people are wanting just as much as a rebuild will cost, so it looks as though that will be my only option.
