what did you re seal the lights with ?

now that my keyboard isn't scrambeling my words, LOL

the glue that holds the lights together re-activates. when you reheat it, so it then holds the lights back together with a permanant seal. you'll need to work fast though because it dries verry fast as it cools off.

I figured I try and attack this with my photoshop skills. I know headlight covers might be a little ricey compared to eyelids but, you get the idea.

those aren't to ricy.

for starters eyelids go along the top of the headlight(like an eyelid lid on top of your eye) and although I like the looks of the painted reflector housing, it would save a lot of time and effort just to put a headlight film over the outside glass.

not to mention the film protects the glass from getting scratched/hazed again

^^^^

How original...

You'll never have the quality from a pice of tint being layed over the "plastic" lense.
Those products aren't what they are craked up to be.

Mine are eyelids.........

I'm not that lazzy.

don't be hattin :rocks:

Here's a little more agressive take...

those do look pretty good design wise.

Hey Keeles, I'm intrested how your lights look like at night. A photo would be nice. I'm also planning on doing that to my fogs lights on my 99 Solara I just got. But, planning on using Krylon Stained Glass Yellow paint. This will be my first attempt just need advice for prepping, how many coats, etc... Thanks

Finally got a pic of the final design I like on my lights. But I need to get another in light and one with the lights on.

I've never used what you speak of so to be honest, I don't know how you'll need to prep for that,
my car is blown at the moment, I've been saving for a rebuild for 2 years now, I'm gona do it right this time. so giving a photo of the lights on is difficult at this moment.

did you ever get a better photo with the lights on?

I'd also like to see a wall shot showing the light output design.

Keeles, I would be interested in a pic of the output color of those lights.

i will as soon as the car is together and running agin, it's still boom.

tore apart and lonely.

KDI is my official name

KeeleDesign Industries,

your reply's seem to not specify wich eyelids you reffering too, so it's slightly confusing.
